This week, WWE announced a change to the date of next year’s Money in the Bank Premium Live Event in New Orleans, LA.
Originally set to take place on Saturday, 29 August, it is now scheduled for Sunday, 6 September.
While the event is still some way off, speculation is already mounting over which men and women could capture the briefcases in 2026.
Here are six potential winners of the 2026 WWE Money in the Bank Ladder Matches.
6. Roxanne Perez

There are several names in WWE’s women’s division who could ascend the ladder and claim the briefcase next September.
One of the most likely appears to be Roxanne Perez.
The 23-year-old is someone WWE has clearly pegged as a top star — the former two-time NXT Women’s Champion captured WWE Tag Team gold alongside Judgement Day partner Raquel Rodriguez soon after joining the main roster.
Perez appears destined to hold a Women’s World Championship in WWE, and that moment could very well come by way of a Money in the Bank victory next year.

5. Liv Morgan

Roxanne Perez may not be the only member of The Judgement Day faction likely to win the Money in the Bank ladder match in 2026.
Former WWE Women’s Champion Liv Morgan suffered a shoulder injury in June — an issue keeping her out of action for the rest of the year, and incidentally opening the door for Perez to take her place in The Judgement Day.
When Morgan returns, we’re likely to see the ever-popular former champion reassume the role of babyface, potentially feuding with Perez before turning her focus back toward the world title.
Next year, there appears every chance that the 31-year-old could become the first woman in WWE history to win Money in the Bank more than once.

4. Sol Ruca

Tiffany Stratton was called up from NXT in 2024, winning the Money in the Bank briefcase soon after her arrival and going on to capture the WWE Women’s World Championship — solidifying her place as one of the top female stars in the company.
Could WWE look to repeat that formula, bringing up another highly touted prospect and giving them a briefcase — and an immediate world title win?
Sol Ruca is someone WWE clearly views as a top prospect, an NXT star pegged as a future world champion.
We could very well see the talented 26-year-old receive that same mega push as she lands on the main roster next year, winning the 2026 Money in the Bank match.

3. Bronson Reed

Bronson Reed scored arguably the biggest win of his career at WWE Crown Jewel, defeating Roman Reigns — though his victory over Kazuchika Okada in New Japan Pro Wrestling’s G1-Climax tournament in 2022 was also a massive victory against one of Japan’s most iconic legends.
While not the biggest star of the new-look Vision faction — that accolade clearly belongs to Bron Breakker — Reed appears set to receive significant emphasis and a top spot on WWE programming over the next year.
The question now is what direction WWE takes with the 37-year-old Australian.
There’s every possibility he could get a big-time match at WrestleMania 42, before going on to capture the Money in the Bank briefcase — and, eventually, a world championship before the end of 2026.

2. Trick Williams

NXT star, Trick Williams appears on the cusp of a call-up to WWE’s main roster.
The super-charismatic 31-year-old has had a breakout year, appearing across both NXT and TNA — becoming TNA World Heavyweight Champion.
Williams is justifiably one of WWE’s most highly touted prospects, and a big-time push seems inevitable once he lands on the main roster.
We could see the rocket pack officially strapped to his back by having him capture the Money in the Bank briefcase and cashing it in for a world championship in 2026.

1. Bron Breakker

It would appear unwise to bet against Bron Breakker winning the men’s Money in the Bank briefcase next year.
Breakker has long been considered next up in WWE – a future top star on the verge of a mega-push.
Following Seth Rollins’ unfortunate shoulder injury, that timetable has clearly been accelerated, however — with Breakker kicking Rollins out of his own faction and taking charge.
Perhaps the only thing that could stop Breakker from winning Money in the Bank in 2026 is if he captures the world title before September.
