Looking ahead WWE Money in the Bank 2025 premium live event in June, there are some interesting possibilities for winners.

With some of the biggest stars in WWE still vying for an opportunity to re-capture their lost titles, this year’s Money in the Bank ladder matches could prove to be more interesting than ever.

Here are eight possible WWE Money in the Bank 2025 winners.

8. Cody Rhodes

WWE star Cody Rhodes

After losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to John Cena at WrestleMania 41, Cody Rhodes has been absent from WWE TV.

While he still has no place on the card for WWE Backlash, there is some hope that he will be back sometime soon.

Rhodes is featured quite heavily on the promotional posters and graphics for the Money in the Bank event which could signal he continues his feud with John Cena.

Or more compellingly, if The Rock made sure that Rhodes was required to jump through a lot of hoops and suffer an extended crucible of challenges to overcome before getting his hands on Cena, perhaps the Money in the Bank briefcase would be the first step in Rhodes’ road to redemption.

7. Charlotte Flair

Despite all of her accolades in WWE, Charlotte Flair has never won the Money in the Bank ladder match.

While she competed in the first ever women’s Money in the Bank ladder match back in 2017 that was eventually won by Carmella, Flair has been cashed-in on more than any other female star at three times.

In a fun twist this year, Flair could enter the match and actually be a massive spoiler for the rest of the young hopefuls who could make up the rest of the match.

Carrying the Money in the Bank briefcase all year, the “Top Girl” in WWE could be a menacing presence across Raw, SmackDown and NXT by threatening everyone with a cash-in.

6. Karrion Kross

Money in the Bank sometimes provides an opportunity for a twist – and Karrion Kross winning could be exactly that.

After Kross made headlines after WrestleMania 41 for blurring the lines between reality and fiction with fiery comments in a post-show interview, he garnered even more fan attention and support.

With a recent swell of support for him, it could be a fun payoff to see Kross capture the Money in the Bank briefcase.

He and Scarlett could go on to lurk around and wreak their particular brand of chaotic havoc throughout the roster with the power of the briefcase.

5. Naomi

After being revealed as the attacker behind Jade Cargill’s backstage assault, Naomi has undergone a serious transformation.

Doing arguably the most compelling character work in her career, Naomi would be the perfect woman to win the Money in the Bank ladder match.

With a theme to re-design the Money in the Bank briefcase right there, Naomi would also make history by becoming the first Black woman to capture a win in the titular ladder match if she were to win.

Bringing an element of mystery and chaos, Naomi would bring an unexpected element to this year’s story of what happens with the briefcase after the ladder match ends.

4. CM Punk

CM Punk was the first ever to win two Money in the Bank briefcase ladder matches – making history by going back-to-back in the efforts in 2008 and 2009.

He could make history again by becoming the first person to win three Money in the Bank ladder matches and go on to be a threat to John Cena or any subsequent champion.

Punk has accumulated several mortal enemies since his return to WWE including Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins, making the potential that he could foil future title reigns even more intriguing.

While the Money in the Bank briefcase is sometimes used as a way to propel a newer star, it would be an interesting twist to see it used by CM Punk who has been vocal about wanting to capture the World Title again in WWE.

3. Alexa Bliss

Despite making a return at the Royal Rumble to a very positive crowd reception, Alexa Bliss has again disappeared from WWE TV.

Only being part of three matches so far in 2025 – the Royal Rumble, a qualifying match for the Elimination Chamber and subsequently the Chamber match – it would make sense to see Bliss reserved for another big match moment.

The Money in the Bank ladder match could provide a unique opportunity for a continuation – or dispelling of rumors – regarding her involvement with the Wyatt Sicks depending on her behavior and the result of this match.

Already having captured the Money in the Bank briefcase in 2018, if Bliss were to win again in 2025 she would make history as the only woman to win the match twice.

2. Chad Gable

After having a landmark year, Chad Gable continues to be doing some of the most interesting character work on WWE Raw.

Finding new and inventive ways to irritate the audience, he certainly continues to blossom as the leader of the American Made faction (with Julius Creed, Brutus Creed and Ivy Nile), and Gable has also become affiliated with new luchador, El Grande Americano.

Persistent rumors continue to plague Gable that he is actually El Grande Americano, however the unsubstantiated claims have yet to be proven… although there is a suspicious amount of mounting evidence.

Whether it is Chad Gable or perhaps El Grande Americano, there would be a lot of fun possibilities with anyone from American Made holding the Money in the Bank briefcase.

1. Chelsea Green

After losing her beloved United States Championship to Zelina Vega on SmackDown, Chelsea Green is in need of a new goal.

Notably an icon of ladder matches in general, Green would be the perfect winner for Money in the Bank 2025.

Giving her a way to remain a thorn in the side of not only the WWE on-screen General Managers but her peers alike, Chelsea would surely bring her own unique spin to her reign as Money in the Bank holder.

Bonus – it gives a spectacular way to keep the Secret Hervice (Alba Fyre and Piper Niven) together and allied with Green as of course she would still need personal detail to protect the briefcase.
