WWE Main Roster Stars Moving To NXT

With continued movement on the WWE roster, it seems that there could be several main roster stars headed to NXT.

With the WWE Draft 2025 coming up soon, there is always the chance that main roster stars will be drafted to NXT.

Here are five WWE main roster stars that could move to NXT.

5. Zelina Vega

After losing the United States Championship to Giulia, Zelina Vega is in need of a character refresh.

While a natural on-screen pairing might be with her real-life husband Aleister Black – it might be an abrupt switch.

Rather – Vega could spend a spell in NXT as she could rebuild herself as a dark and dominant force before shocking fans with their alliance.

With the potential to engage in feuds with the likes of Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe in NXT, it would be the perfect time for a new iteration of Vega to debut.

4. Charlotte Flair

While Charlotte Flair has appeared on the A&E reality competition series WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats), she could also be incredible on NXT.

With Flair currently occupied in a fun tag team with Alexa Bliss – albeit potentially poised to break up in the near future – she has been more warmly received since the shift.

Perhaps a new side quest for Flair could be to become a crucible for the talent on NXT to demonstrate their main roster readiness.

Temporarily linking up with Ava as special guest NXT GM would also be a fun storyline for the pair of generational talents.

3. Wyatt Sicks

While Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis are currently the WWE Tag Team Champions on SmackDown – it doesn’t mean that the Wyatt Sicks as a group couldn’t make some appearances in NXT.

With several contenders for who could be attacked by the stable – it would also be a fun way to see someone from the NXT roster called up by way of feuding with the Sicks.

Classic heels like ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page or Lexis King could be one direction but also – Nikki Cross could definitely go on a hunt for a new tag team partner amongst the NXT roster.

There could be a lot of fun possibilities albeit perhaps too much to have two surprise ambush factions on one show since Darkstate is already liable to drop the lights and strike at any time.

2. Motor City Machine Guns

Another by product of the potential crossovers with TNA Wrestling – Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin would be a fun duo to see have a run on NXT.

While the industry veterans would not be in the Performance Center to sharpen their skills – rather they could be of assistance in rebuilding the tag team division in NXT.

After Fraxiom dominated the tag division in NXT for over a year, since their call-up to the main roster there has been a bit of a lull with Hank Walker and Tank Ledger continuing to hold the titles.

Bringing in the Motor City Machine Guns – as well as having crossovers with TNA Wrestling could help reinvigorate the division.

1. AJ Styles

At TNA Wrestling Slammiversary 2025, AJ Styles made an appearance and congratulated new X-Division Champion Leon Slater.

Although fans were hopeful that perhaps there would be a future match set up – no such luck.

However, since TNA Wrestling crossovers continue in NXT – it might make sense to see AJ Styles popping up in NXT at the same time.

Giving a vehicle for Styles to clash with the likes of old foes Frankie Kazarian or Jeff Hardy – NXT could play host to some massive matches
