WWE’s latest PLE, Crown Jewel, takes place this Saturday, 11 October.
For the first time in the event’s history, Crown Jewel will be held outside Saudi Arabia — emanating from Perth, Australia.
In line with Paul Levesque’s now-familiar event structure, five matches are set for the card, and on paper it looks promising with Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship, John Cena vs. AJ Styles in a final chapter of their legendary rivalry, and Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed in an Australian Street Fight.
Beyond the lineup, fans could also see surprise appearances from returning WWE legends — and WrestleTalk predicts who they could be.
5. Paige
After leaving AEW following a short run that marked her return to in-ring action after a five-year hiatus, many expected Saraya to immediately return to her old stomping grounds and resume her Paige moniker in WWE.
That, however, has yet to happen.
Nevertheless, the odds remain high that her WWE comeback is only a matter of time.
The big question is whether it could happen as soon as Crown Jewel: Perth — could we see Paige appear during the Women’s Crown Jewel Title bout between Stephanie Vaquer and Tiffany Stratton, stepping up to challenge one of the champions?

4. The Good Brothers
At Crown Jewel: Perth, John Cena and AJ Styles will clash one final time — revisiting what is arguably Cena’s best ever in-ring feud.
On the 6 October edition of Raw, Styles promised that the match would “kick ass” — and if history is any indication, it certainly will.
But could the bout also feature some familiar faces? Could Styles’ former faction partners, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, show up to accompany the former Bullet Club leader?
While a third WWE stint for The Good Brothers seems unlikely after their release earlier this year, their shared history in this rivalry makes a surprise cameo entirely possible.

3. Arn Anderson
In AEW, Arn Anderson was a central figure in Cody Rhodes’ act, serving as his manager throughout his now-iconic run.
Since Rhodes’ return to WWE, however, Anderson has only made one on-screen appearance — leaving fans wondering if the duo might reunite on WWE television.
With Rhodes set to face Seth Rollins, who will almost certainly be accompanied by Paul Heyman, could Cody look to bring in his own “Enforcer”?
While perhaps unlikely, Rhodes bringing out Arn Anderson at Crown Jewel: Perth would be a appropriate nod to his AEW legacy as he reignites his long-running rivalry with the man who first welcomed him back to WWE in 2022.

2. Emma
Given that Crown Jewel is taking place in Perth this year, there’s every chance WWE could bring back some of their former Australian stars for cameo appearances.
While some of the country’s biggest exports — like Toni Storm and Buddy Matthews — are currently signed elsewhere, one recent name who fits the bill is Emma.
The Melbourne native found early success in NXT during the rise of the women’s division in the mid-2010s, later enjoying two main roster runs and spells in both TNA Wrestling and Ring of Honor.
An entertaining in-ring performer, we could easily see the 37-year-old make a surprise cameo appearance in front of her home crowd.

1. Dakota Kai
A star from Australia’s neighbour, New Zealand, who could appear at Crown Jewel: Perth is Dakota Kai.
The 37-year-old was released from WWE earlier this year, but her appearance on the show would make perfect sense in storyline terms.
Crown Jewel’s potentially show-stealer is a tag team clash between The Kabuki Warriors — Asuka and Kairi Sane — and Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY: a showdown between former Damage CTRL members – with the exception of Ripley.
Given Kai’s history in Damage CTLR, could we see her return to aid one of the teams?
