Jacob Fatu has proven himself a phenomenon since his WWE debut last July, with an explosive, spectacular in-ring style and a wild persona that fans quickly embraced, marking him out as a future main event star.
In storyline terms, the 33-year-old remains locked in a feud with his former Bloodline partners – now rechristened MFT – despite losing against Solo Sikoa in their United States Title Cage Match at SummerSlam.
As Fatu continues to build momentum towards a main event-level push, could WWE make him the leader of his own faction?
Here are five stars who could make up a potential faction led by Jacob Fatu.
5. Jimmy Uso
The most obvious choice for membership in a Jacob Fatu-led faction is Jimmy Uso.
Since Fatu split from Solo Sikoa’s faction, he has formed an alliance with Uso – the two have teamed several times against members of MFT on WWE Smackdown.
Uso had been lacking clear direction this year, a stark contrast to his brother Jey on Raw, but his partnership with Fatu has given him a fresh spotlight.
If a Fatu faction is formed, it seems certain that Jimmy Uso will be its inaugural member.

4. Zilla Fatu
25-year-old Zilla Fatu is another highly touted prospect from the Anoa’i family – the son of the late WWE legend Umaga.
As well as being directly related to Jacob Fatu as cousins, the pair also teamed regularly when Jacob was working on the indies.
Zilla only debuted in 2023 and has fewer than 100 matches to his name, but recently appeared on the pre-show for WWE’s partner promotion TNA at the Slammiversary PPV.
Undoubtedly WWE will have its eyes on Zilla Fatu – but the question is when he will be brought in, and whether he’ll be placed straight alongside his older cousin.

3. Carmelo Hayes
Former NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes was a highly touted future star – a can’t-miss prospect – during his time in WWE’s developmental.
So far, that potential has gone untapped, with Hayes underutilized since joining the main roster in 2024 and spending much of this year in a middling odd-couple tag team with The Miz.
Fortunately, that pairing now looks set to end, giving Hayes the chance at a fresh start in the company.
Placing him in a pushed act like a Jacob Fatu-led faction could be the perfect way to showcase his outstanding ability.

2. Tavion Heights
Former Olympian Tavion Heights is quickly proving himself to be one of WWE’s top prospects.
The NXT star and former Greco-Roman wrestler has been pro-wrestling for less than three years, trained entirely from scratch in WWE’s Performance Center, and is already developing into a polished in-ring worker with an explosive big-man moveset.
Alongside his growing in-ring skills, Heights has also shown both the charisma and presence necessary to make it in WWE.
With a main roster call-up looking imminent, placing him in a Jacob Fatu-led faction would be a surefire way to spotlight the super-talented 28-year-old.

1. Sami Zayn
On the August 15 edition of WWE SmackDown, Sami Zayn officially announced his move to WWE’s blue brand.
The shift allowed him to continue his feud with Solo Sikoa, which reignited the week prior when Zayn made a surprise appearance on the show, pinning Sikoa.
In last week’s main event, Zayn teamed with Jacob Fatu and Jimmy Uso to defeat Sikoa, JC Mateo, and Tonga Loa, and though the pairing between Fatu and Zayn was initially uneasy due to their history on opposite sides of the Bloodline war, they embraced after Zayn scored the win.
If Jacob Fatu does establish a full faction, it seems likely that Sami Zayn will be a formal part of it.
