From 2008 to 2014, WWE was in the midst of the PG Era where the company went to more of a family friendly presentation.

Throughout this time, there were a litany of stars who became legends before the fans’ eyes that now feel worthy of being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

With this year’s class of 2026 ceremony set to take place during WrestleMania 42 weekend, there could be some inductees from this particular era of the company.

Here are eight potential WWE Hall of Fame 2026 PG Era inductees.

8. Jeff Hardy

While he made a name for himself during the Attitude Era alongside his brother Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy came into his own and became a huge star for WWE during the PG Era.

Hardy established himself as one of the most popular babyfaces of this period of time and rose the ranks to become a three-time WWE World Champion.

Despite leaving WWE in 2009, Hardy made his mark to become one of the most iconic stars of the PG Era for the promotion.

It is more than likely Jeff Hardy will be inducted with his brother for their contributions as a duo, but he would also be more than deserving to go into the hallowed Halls for his solo success as well.

7. Sheamus

In recent years, WWE has been inducting active stars on the roster into the Hall of Fame.

Whether it be an in-ring competitor like Rey Mysterio or one of the more prominent characters like Paul Heyman, the past few years have seen WWE leaning more to those fans see weekly to be inducted into the Hall of Fame during WrestleMania weekend.

Looking at the WWE roster, Sheamus is one of the more decorated stars over the past two decades of the company as a multi-time world champion, Mr Money In The Bank and Royal Rumble winner.

The ‘Celtic Warrior’ being inducted this year would be a true honor to celebrate everything he has done for the company since making his debut in 2008.

One of the biggest female stars during this period had to have been Mickie James, who was first introduced in 2005 and rose the ranks in short order.

During the PG Era, James became a six-time WWE Women’s Champion and put on some iconic rivalries against the likes of Beth Phoenix, Melina and Michelle McCool.

James’ place in WWE history is firmly cemented and she is deserving of being among the elite talent in the Hall of Fame.

5. Paige

First making her mark in WWE during her time on the NXT brand, Paige became one of the faces of the women’s division.

Becoming the first ever NXT Women’s Champion, Paige was established as an alternative to the Divas era of the company.

Getting called up following WWE WrestleMania 30, Paige became the WWE Divas Champion in her first match on the main roster and went on to solidify herself as one of the top stars in the women’s division.

With her status as a free agent, Paige could easily be called upon to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame 2026 in Las Vegas this year.

During this time period, ‘The Animal’ became a six-time WWE World Champion, a Royal Rumble winner and put on some of the most memorable feuds of this era.

Whether it be his wars with Triple H or his WWE Championship rivalry with John Cena, Batista established his legacy during the PG Era of the company.

Considering he was supposed to be inducted back in 2020, it feels like about time that WWE makes good on placing Batista into the Hall of Fame this year during WrestleMania 42 weekend.

3. Randy Orton

There are several stars on the current WWE roster that would be more than worthy of being inducted into the Hall of Fame 2026.

Heading into WrestleMania 42 weekend, Randy Orton will be challenging Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship on one of the nights of the event.

Orton’s list of accolades rivals some of the all-time greats as a 14-time WWE World Champion, Grand Slam Champion, Royal Rumble winner and Mr Money In The Bank.

With his status as one of the biggest heels of the PG Era in WWE, Orton feels like someone who would not look out of place as the headliner for the Hall of Fame class of 2026.

The ‘Best In The World’ really came into his own during the PG Era of WWE where he first won the WWE World Championship for the first time, won the Money In The Bank Ladder match twice and had his signature ‘Summer of Punk’ storyline.

From his legendary rivalries with John Cena and The Undertaker to matches with Daniel Bryan and The Rock, Punk went from a star on the rise to one of the biggest main event talents in WWE.

Considering his status as a top star in the current landscape of the company, Punk would be fitting as a headliner for this year’s WWE Hall of Fame 2026 ceremony.

1. John Cena

There was no bigger star during the course of the PG Era in WWE than John Cena.

Coming into his own and rising the ranks to become a multi-time WWE Champion in the Ruthless Aggression Era, Cena started the PG Era as undoubtedly the face of the company.

With his recent retirement after bringing his in-ring career to a close in December 2025, Cena is a 17-time WWE World Champion, two-time Royal Rumble winner, Mr Money In The Bank and even won the Intercontinental Championship in his final year.

From his famed matches with CM Punk and Batista to the noteworthy feuds with Edge and Randy Orton during the PG Era, Cena has earned his mantle as the biggest star of that period and would be a proper headliner for the WWE Hall of Fame 2026 ceremony.
