WWE Evolution 2025 takes place in Atlanta on Saturday, July 12, as a showcase of the company’s women’s division.
With a battle royal on the show, there seems to be plenty of opportunity for some surprise appearances, which could come in the form of some talents making their debuts on the main roster.
Here are six debuts that could take place at WWE Evolution.
6. Tyra Mae Steele
After winning the first season of WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats), Tyra Mae Steele made her NXT TV in-ring debut in early June.
However, in the four weeks that followed her debut, she was off NXT and has instead been moved to Evolve, which is essentially NXT’s NXT.
She has also yet to make a main roster debut, and doesn’t have the momentum that her male counterpart in fellow LFG season 1 winner Jasper Troy has built up.
Despite this, considering her name value as an Olympic Gold Medalist and the fact WWE clearly sees big things since she won LFG, there’s a chance she could make an appearance as a surprise entrant in the Evolution Battle Royal.

5. Blake Monroe
Off the back of her run at the top of the AEW women’s division, Blake Monroe debuted on WWE NXT and was immediately positioned towards the top of the brand, aligned with Jordynne Grace against NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne and the rest of Fatal Influence.
Monroe teams with Grace against Jayne and Fallon Henley at NXT’s Great American Bash, but isn’t currently part of Evolution.
Considering how WWE clearly sees her having a major future, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Monroe show up at Evolution unannounced.
Whether it be in the battle royal, or lending some assistance to Grace against Jayne, Monroe could well factor into WWE Evolution as her first main roster PLE appearance.

4. Masha Slamovich
Masha Slamovich is the current TNA Knockouts Champion, and she’ll be keeping a very close eye on WWE Evolution.
At Slammiversary one week after Evolution, Slamovich will face either Jacy Jayne or Jordynne Grace in a title vs title match for both the Knockouts Championship and the NXT Women’s Championship.
What better way for Slamovich to scout the competition than being there in person to witness it – and maybe event get involved.
Slamovich could even take part in the battle royal as the latest TNA star to crossover onto a WWE premium live event.

3. The IInspiration
While this would be a re-debut, it would be a very popular one.
The IInsipiration, then known as The IIconics, were part of the original WWE Evolution event back in 2018, as they both took part in that night’s battle royal that was won by Nia Jax.
After both Cassie Lee and Jess McKay had time out of the ring, they recently returned to TNA, which likely means the door is open for Evolution.
As former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, it would no doubt excite a lot of fans if The IInspiration were back in WWE, even just for one night.

2. Kali Armstrong
Although she’s yet to fully debut in NXT, Kali Armstrong is clearly someone WWE has high hopes for.
Armstrong was crowned the first ever WWE Evolve Women’s Champion, and just retained the title against main roster stalwart Natalya.
Backstage reports online have even pointed to WWE seeing Armstrong as someone who can be a future WrestleMania main eventer.
Armstrong being part of the WWE Evolution battle royal and having an impressive showing would be a great way to showcase her, as well as serving as a way to promote Evolve.

1. Kalyx
WWE main roster referee Jessika Carr has actually worked two matches in Evolve since the shows inception in March, although she has done so under a different guise.
Wrestling under a mask as ‘Kalyx’, Carr first worked a tag team match that saw her team with Haze Jameson in a losing effort against Aria Bennett and Layla Diggs, and then a number of weeks later, losing to Carlee Bright in singles action.
Carr has an extensive in-ring history before from she joined WWE as a referee, including matches in ROH, Shimmer and SHINE.
As a showcase of the women in WWE, Carr being included in the battle royal would be both fitting, and would likely provide some fun moments.
