8 NXT Stars To Be Called Up In 2025 WWE Draft

The time after WWE WrestleMania seems to mark the beginning of a ‘new season’, and with it, new stars will be introduced via the 2025 WWE Draft.

One part of the draft, in addition to swapping existing main roster stars from brand to brand, are call-ups of NXT talent to the main roster. With this year’s roster in NXT beyond stacked with impressive talent, it would make sense for there to be some movement to either WWE Raw or SmackDown.

Here are eight NXT stars who could be called up to the WWE main roster.

8. Trick Williams

WWE NXT star Trick Williams

Trick Williams hasn’t been the same since he lost the NXT Championship and now his descent into madness will take him to new depths.

Literally new depths as Williams is set to face Eddy Thorpe in an NXT Underground match in two weeks on March 18.

Perhaps a continued decline into his dark side is coming, but a potential heel turn has already become apparent as gone is the affable Trick Willy of yesteryear.

Since there isn’t much left for Williams to do in NXT, he could graduate to the main roster, and when he gets there, he could reunite with Carmelo Hayes if a heel turn is indeed imminent.

7. Roxanne Perez

This one seems the most obvious with Roxanne Perez already appearing across the main roster on television and premium live events.

Most recently competing in the WWE Elimination Chamber match, Perez was one of five women to participate for the chance to take on Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 41.

Clearly signifying that she is considered in current storylines across the main roster and NXT, Perez doesn’t seem to have settled her beef with Bayley, nor her NXT rival Jordynne Grace.

Accordingly, Perez looks set to appear across brands for a spell, but ultimately she should be fully called up to the main roster soon.

6. Tony D’Angelo

After losing his NXT North American Championship to Shawn Spears on the latest edition of NXT, it is unclear what is next for Tony D’Angelo.

While there might still be items within this storyline on NXT to clear up including what is next for The D’Angelo Family, it may be approaching the time that D’Angelo is overthrown as the ‘Don of NXT’.

Whether it’s Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo that turns on him first or Luca Crusifino – or someone else entirely – there seems to be change afoot for the D’Angelo Family.

While he has done the job himself numerous times in the past, the only way for D’Angelo to be written off of NXT TV is to see him sent to sleep with the fishes. Don’t worry, Pretty Deadly swam back out, and so will he.

5. Kelani Jordan

Things just haven’t been the same for Kelani Jordan since she lost the NXT Women’s North American Championship as the storyline has seen her begin to embrace a more aggressive side.

While her recent feud with Jaida Parker has truly brought out a different side of her that hadn’t previously been showcased in the ring, she has also been on a spree of nastiness in the locker room.

Since Jordan is seemingly making a heel turn, it would make sense for it to go all the way and send her to the main roster.

Bonus points if she joins Trick Melo Gang with Trick Williams and Jordan’s real-life partner Carmelo Hayes, and they feud with the other WWE factions featuring a tag team and women’s division star.

4. Nathan Frazer & Axiom

They could be called up separately, but since Fraxiom continues to ride together, they may as well be drafted to the main roster together.

In 2024 the duo dominated the NXT Tag Team Championship scene and while it is possible their time to break up is coming, it doesn’t seem to be anytime soon.

The pair are set to face off against Matt and Jeff Hardy on next week’s NXT Roadblock for the TNA World Tag Team Championship.

Whether together as a unit or returning to their extensive history of singles action, both Nathan Frazer and Axiom should get called up in this year’s WWE Draft.

3. Meta-Four

While the entire Meta-Four group of four is preferable, WWE may just call up the ‘Meta Girls’ as a duo.

Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend have already been featured in several main roster matches, having impressive showings in each and seemingly making them highly likely to be drafted to the main roster in 2025.

Having already demonstrated their competitiveness in the ring, it makes way more sense for them to pursue the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship from the main roster than remain in NXT.

Oro Mensah has had some impressive performances as well, but the team is really strongest when all together. Whenever Noam Dar is back in action, the entire squad should go straight to the main roster.

2. Ethan Page

Ethan Page had a rapid rise after his WWE NXT debut in June 2024, quickly capturing the NXT Championship within his first month in the company.

While he continues to have an engaging feud with NXT star Je’Von Evans right now, by the time it is over Page will be ready to be called up to the main roster.

Outside of perhaps Ricky Saints, there aren’t many stories left for Ethan Page to tell in NXT – on the main roster however, there are far more intriguing possibilities.

From familiar faces like Cody Rhodes to completely new opponents like Seth Rollins, Ethan Page could easily find himself in top programs on the main roster if he were to be drafted.

1. Stephanie Vaquer

After arriving in WWE and making an immediate impact, former CMLL star Stephanie Vaquer has put her vast experience to good use in short order, already capturing the NXT Women’s North American Championship.

It remains to be seem what’ll happen in her title vs title match against NXT Women’s Champion Giulia, but if Vaquer were to lose, there could be a very good reason.

Vaquer herself has recently commented that WWE gave the option of starting on the main roster or in NXT, and she elected for NXT out of a desire to work on speaking English and learning the WWE/American style of wrestling.

Given her experience and the sheer number of highly talented women on the NXT roster, Stephanie Vaquer would be a clear candidate to be called up.
