The landscape of WWE has shifted after WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas with new alliances, new champions and a few surprises.

While the action continues in the Las Vegas desert, there are some changes that will be clear in WWE moving forward after the events that have already taken place.

Here are seven changes to WWE after WrestleMania 41.

7. Becky Lynch Returns

After Bayley was taken out by an off-screen attack on night one of WrestleMania 41, there is a current vacancy on the card that is perfect for a surprise return.

Lyra Valkyria is set to face off against the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, but with a mystery partner, which could very easily lead to the return of Becky Lynch.

Even if she doesn’t return to in-ring action, the weekend has already seen more from the former WWE Women’s Champion as she returned on-screen in the crowd at the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony as well as being featured reacting to Seth Rollins’ heel turn to close night one in backstage footage shared on social media by WWE.

Perhaps alluding to a heel turn in the future for Lynch herself – since she and Rollins are now frequently referenced as married in storyline as well as real life – we’ll have to wait and see what comes next for Becky Lynch.

6. The Rock Orchestrating Bigger Plans

After the appearance of The Rock at Elimination Chamber, the Final Boss has been away from WWE TV.

Now that the WrestleMania 41 night two main event is upon us, it is hard to imagine that The Rock doesn’t make an appearance in Las Vegas.

With Seth Rollins’ alliance with Paul Heyman viewed by some fans as a signal that both may answer to The Final Boss, we’ll have to wait and see on the exact reveal.

But as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has reminded fans in his out of character post-show comments in the past – enjoy the ride.

5. John Cena The ‘Last Real Champion’

John Cena has vowed to not only win at WrestleMania 41 and become the Undisputed WWE Champion, but he says he will leave with belt.

Declaring himself as the “last real champion”, Cena says he will win the title and proceed to disappear, in no small part because the fans do not deserve him.

Intriguingly, Cena could in fact pull this gimmick off and re-emerge in the lead up to SummerSlam to eventually face another opponent, continuing the mystery of whether or not he will actually retire with the title.

John Cena is competing in his last WrestleMania but his farewell tour is far from over – there are a lot of twists and turns left in the story before he retires.

4. New Paul Heyman Guy – Seth Rollins

After betraying both CM Punk and Roman Reigns on night one of WrestleMania 41, Paul Heyman’s latest ally has been revealed as Seth Rollins.

WWE will definitely not be the same after the partnership was revealed in the main event match of night one where Rollins successfully defeated Reigns and Punk thanks to Heyman.

Given the ‘architect’ moniker used by Rollins is probably most applicable to Paul Heyman, there are seemingly endless possibilities as to what this dynamic duo could construct together.

Also in the aftermath of life altering betrayals, the characters of CM Punk and Roman Reigns will certainly never be the same.

3. Randy Orton’s Open Challenge

WWE star Randy Orton

After it was revealed that Kevin Owens was unable to compete at WWE WrestleMania 41, Randy Orton has been on the hunt for a new opponent.

While there are a lot of potential options, several debuts could be possible in order to answer Orton’s open challenge.

Since Orton seemed intentional about his language of including ‘anyone in Las Vegas’ for WrestleMania 41, it remains possible that the call could be answered by surprises from outside the company like TNA Wrestling or the recently acquired AAA.

While there have been WrestleMania surprise opponents in the past, pivoting after a real-life injury to a star from outside of the company could be a major change from the past creative regime.

2. Raw After WrestleMania Debuts

The WWE Raw after WrestleMania always plays host to some surprises, so there could be some debuts on the way.

If anyone does happen to debut on the Raw after Mania, they could be the first recipient of a new deal with Topps trading cards.

Topps and WWE have partnered to create ‘patches’ that will be worn by debuting stars, and then made available in 1-of-1 packs of cards.

That will actually continue beyond this weekend as well for anyone making their debut on the main roster going forward.

1. New Champions

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso

WrestleMania 41 night one hosted an assortment of title matches, but the champions did not end up coming out on top by the end.

Saturday featured three titles changing hands – Jey Uso winning the World Heavyweight Championship, Jacob Fatu capturing the United States Championship, and the New Day winning the World Tag Team Championship.

Only Tiffany Stratton was able to retain her WWE Women’s Championship after a brutal battle against Charlotte Flair.

With another four titles on the line for Sunday, the changing of the guard might not be over just yet.
