While WWE currently has numerous factions, there is certainly room for more as alliances shift on the ‘Road to WrestleMania’.
With WWE WrestleMania 41 coming up next month in Las Vegas, there is still time for some surprises and potentially the formation of new factions.
Here are 8 new WWE factions that could debut soon.
8. New Saraya/Paige Faction

With the recent news that Saraya has officially parted ways with AEW, it makes sense that fans would want to see her return to WWE.
Having experience leading factions in both WWE and AEW, Saraya is no stranger to putting together a group.
That being said – if the former Paige were to return, she could definitely lead a faction on the main roster but it may also be particularly fun to see her in NXT.
There are several existing groups in NXT that she could immediately take over. Tatum Paxley & Gigi Dolin with or without Shotzi – or Fatal Influence – are some examples, or she could form an entirely new group to compete with those that are already on the roster.

7. Ricky Saints Faction

Another star that would make sense to lead his own group in NXT is the recently arrived Ricky Saints.
While thus far in NXT Saints has been flying solo, he did tag team with Je’Von Evans and has been presented as a babyface.
With NXT severely lacking a top babyface star, especially in the event big names like Oba Femi or Trick Williams are called up to the main roster, Ricky Saints might be able to assemble a group in NXT to elevate him to that level.
Particularly with The Culling creeping around, someone has to fight against them for the soul of NXT.

6. New Pure Fusion Collective

Since the departure of Sonya Deville, it seems that the group Pure Fusion Collective has disbanded despite Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark remaining in WWE.
However, the hard hitting spirit of the group could certainly be resurrected to involve a different combination of stars but with the same combat vibe.
While there is already a technical wrestling focused faction in the heelish American Made (Chad Gable, The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile), there is room for another squad for them to squabble with.
Should any amalgamation of stars with notable backgrounds, for example – Shayna Baszler, Tyler Bate, Pete Dunne and Eddy Thorpe join together, there could be endless feud possibilities.

5. Evil New Day

Since Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods turned their backs on Big E and officially turned heel in WWE, they have been universally hated by fans.
Should they recruit any new members, those stars would immediately launch themselves into ‘most hated’ territory in WWE.
While just adding just one new member to effectively replace Big E seems like an obvious option (a returning Omos?), there could also be several recruits from NXT.
Wes Lee and Trick Williams could make a huge splash on the main roster by joining a new generation of New Day.

4. The Rock’s Boardroom

With The Rock having successfully recruited John Cena to join him, perhaps there are more WWE stars to come.
There remains a hanging question regarding Drew McIntyre’s potential affiliation with The Rock, so there could still be more members left to be added.
A controversial possibility would be if there were to be a future reveal that Seth Rollins had been working with Cena the entire time – aiding his Elimination Chamber win, trying to dissuade Cody from joining The Rock – but it isn’t impossible to imagine Seth Rollins selling out… history tends to repeat itself in WWE.
Conversely, there could always be more surprises ahead from Drew McIntyre who may be recruiting his own group…

3. Drew McIntyre’s Disgruntled Gentleman Society

The enemy of my enemy is my friend – therefore Drew McIntyre actually kind of has more friends than one might imagine.
Namely, McIntyre could immediately join together with Kevin Owens and the aforementioned Seth Rollins in their shared eternal hatred for the Bloodline.
With all three looking at a WrestleMania that features not a single title match involving them, perhaps they could join forces in grumpiness.
Another potential option would be for McIntyre to just lead a group of disgruntled gents with NXT’s Gallus (Wolfgang and Joe & Mark Coffey) being a built-in squad that has already teased aligning with the Scottish Warrior.

2. GUNTHER’s Imperium 2.0

If you cast your mind back to a simpler time, you may recall that on NXT 2.0, GUNTHER was WALTER and he led the Imperium faction made up of two names you haven’t heard in a while.
Marcel Barthel (now known as Ludwig Kaiser) and Fabian Aichner (later known as Giovanni Vinci) were WALTER’s henchmen in their seemingly soulless squad.
Fast-forward to present day Imperium and it is basically Kaiser and GUNTHER loosely affiliated with one another, who are menacing but also lack the numbers advantage they once had with a third.
Perhaps GUNTHER could cultivate a bigger group of soldiers as the Ring General has certainly demonstrated he knows how to succeed on the main roster.

1. Cody Rhodes’ New Nightmare Family

Speaking of current WWE champions who could sorely use some official back-up, Cody Rhodes also fits the bill.
With John Cena and The Rock (and Travis Scott) certainly maintaining a numbers advantage already, with no indication they may not have even more waiting in the wings, Rhodes could assemble his own group against their evil.
While Randy Orton is one obvious choice, there are also several AEW alumni in NXT – like Ricky Saints and Shawn Spears – who would seem to be a good fit as well.
Potentially looking outside the company, Rhodes has previously referenced his nephews Wayne and Wyatt Rhodes on screen, and the current free agents could possibly be persuaded to run interference if necessary.
