After GUNTHER waged a brutal attack on WWE Raw, Jey Uso needs backup now more than ever ahead of WrestleMania 41.
While Jimmy Uso seemed poised to help out on the Road to WrestleMania, it might take more than just his twin brother to actually fight off The Ring General.
Here are seven WWE stars that could join a new Jey Uso faction.
7. Cody Rhodes

Last time Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso were a tag team – they won WWE tag team gold!
While Uso is currently fighting for his first World Heavyweight Championship and Cody Rhodes is fighting to maintain his own Undisputed WWE Championship – the pair could still make a tremendous alliance.
With both needing someone to watch their back, the former tag team partners would be a good fit.
While there are only a few people Jey Uso can truly trust, Cody seems to be one of them.

6. Rhea Ripley

If Jey Uso is bringing together a faction, Rhea Ripley would be a powerful addition to the group.
After their past on-screen flirtations sent fans’ hearts aflutter, it would be incredibly fun to see Ripley and Uso cross paths again.
Who knows – by the end of WrestleMania 41, they could both be world champions!
While Jey Uso isn’t tangling with any forces who require a female backup, Ripley is equally dangerous to anyone in the locker room regardless of gender.

5. Damian Priest

Actually, Jey Uso could use an alliance with both members of the ‘Terror Twins’ by joining up with both Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest.
While the pair have been on opposite sides of wars before, their current iterations as babyfaces could actually make a great partnership.
Since Priest has his own negative history with GUNTHER, he would seem likely to be willing to join Uso’s cause.
While GUNTHER proved himself to be vicious against Jimmy Uso on WWE Raw (March 31), perhaps a surprise from SmackDown would be fitting next week.

4. Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn has been out of action since his brutal unsanctioned match against Kevin Owens at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025.
While Kevin Owens is set to face off against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41, so far it isn’t known what Sami Zayn will be doing – if anything.
It might actually be best for Zayn to return as a supporter of Jey Uso on his quest to gain Uso’s first World title.
With Sami making for a good candidate to potentially come knocking for a title shot after WrestleMania, it would be compelling to reintroduce their friendship before watching it potentially fall apart thereafter.

3. Alpha Academy

If Jey Uso is in need of an entire squad of immediate back-up, he should look no further than the Alpha Academy.
While they may have ditched Chad Gable last year, they kept the name as Otis, Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri continue together as a group.
With Jey notably having their support in the past, they would actually be a great fit to help out Uso once again on his Road to WrestleMania.
If nothing else, this would give Otis and Tozawa something of note to do ahead of WrestleMania, while Maxxine Dupri pursues her tag team with Natalya.

2. Hikuleo

While Hikuleo has reportedly been signed to WWE since July 2024, he has yet to debut.
There have been reports that he will start his run in WWE on the NXT brand, but since he has yet to debut maybe these potential plans have now changed, with the former NJPW star instead headed straight to the main roster.
With the next iteration of The Bloodline possibly set to assemble behind Jey Uso as the only world champion in the family, it would make sense to call reinforcements before WrestleMania 41.
However, there is always one other name Jey Uso could call on to join his new faction…

1. Roman Reigns

At WrestleMania 41, Roman Reigns has got a tall order ahead of him, as he takes on both Seth Rollins and CM Punk in the main event of Night One of The Show of Shows.
While both WWE Raw stars have met Reigns on SmackDown, it is likely that Roman will appear again on Netflix ahead of the big event.
Should Roman Reigns and Jey Uso cross paths, there should definitely be an acknowledgement that Reigns has Uso’s back – or at least have The OTC wish him well in his pursuit of his first World Heavyweight Championship.
There would be no better way for Jey Uso to finally feel like the ‘main event’ than to be acknowledged by the man who has headlined more WrestleManias than anyone else.
