7 New WWE Stars To Join Raw

The annual WWE Draft is still to be confirmed for 2025.

Yet even outside of the Draft, stars have frequently changed brands, with the split between Raw, SmackDown, and NXT being loosely enforced in recent years.

A current example is the ongoing crossover feud between NXT and Raw women’s division stars.

Here are seven WWE stars who could be officially moved to the Raw brand.

7. Giulia

WWE NXT star Giulia

Giulia’s status as a generational talent has long been clear – rising quickly to the top of Japanese women’s wrestling in top joshi promotions, Stardom and Marigold, where her charisma and ultra-aggressive in-ring style made her jump off the screen.

Since arriving in WWE, she quickly captured the NXT Women’s Championship and now appears destined for the main roster.

Her frequent appearances on Raw since WrestleMania – feuding with top stars from both brands like IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley – suggest that her move is imminent.

All signs point to Giulia’s transition to the main roster becoming permanent very soon.

6. Rey Fenix

WWE star Rey Fenix

Uber-talented luchador Rey Fenix made his long-anticipated WWE debut in April on SmackDown.

This was surprising to some fans given that his brother Penta had already made a major impact since arriving on Raw back in January, as it meant the Lucha Brothers would be on separate brands instead of immediately reuniting.

As previous winners of Wrestling Observer’s Tag Team of the Year and widely regarded as one of the best teams in the world for over a decade, the brothers have been dropping clear hints on both shows about a reunion.

All signs now point to that reunion happening on Raw, with Fenix set to join his brother to finally bring an end to Penta’s long-running feud with Chad Gable.

5. Oba Femi

WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi

Current NXT Champion Oba Femi is clearly being positioned for a top spot in WWE.

The 27-year-old is one of the Performance Center’s standout success stories, signed by the company without having wrestled a single match.

NXT’s fans have seen him rapidly develop into a highly effective in-ring performer – both charismatic and commanding – with an in-ring presence and powerhouse move-set that suits WWE’s main-event style.

The fact that he was confronted by The Undertaker on the April 29 edition of NXT, who told him it was now his “yard,” signals just how high the company’s hopes are for him – a move to WWE’s flagship show Raw seems imminent.

4. Motor City Machine Guns

The tag team division on SmackDown is currently firing on all cylinders, with The Street Profits, DIY, the Motor City Machine Guns, Fraxiom, Los Garza and Pretty Deadly all in the mix.

Raw’s tag division, on the other hand, is looking sparse by comparison.

A move to the red brand by former WWE Tag Team Champions the Motor City Machine Guns could provide a major boost – and potentially set up a dream match with The New Day, two of the most celebrated North American teams of the past two decades.

We may have to wait for the Draft to see it happen, but a series between these teams would be more than worth it.

3. Roxanne Perez

Roxanne Perez has appeared on Raw every week since WrestleMania alongside NXT partner Giulia, as they continue to feud with Rhea Ripley and WWE Womens World Champion IYO SKY.

This rivalry has featured excellent in-ring performances from all four, and Perez – despite being the least experienced – has more than held her own.

Having spent three years in NXT, following a memorable run as ROH Women’s World Champion and becoming a two-time NXT Women’s Champion, there seems little reason for her to remain in “development.”

A permanent move to Raw could be confirmed in the coming weeks.

2. Charlie Dempsey

It appears a breakdown of NXT faction No Quarter Catch Crew is on the cards, with ongoing tension between leader Charlie Dempsey and Myles Borne being heavily teased.

A feud between the two could lead to the group’s split – and open the door for Dempsey to move up to the main roster.

He’s more than ready in the ring, even if his character still needs work, but that could be helped by having his real-life father William Regal as his manager.

With Regal by his side and brass knuckles in hand, Dempsey could make a serious impact on WWE’s flagship brand, Raw.

1. Drew McIntyre

The wild table spot during the four-way US Title match at Backlash showed that Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest’s violent feud is not yet over.

A final clash between them seems likely – perhaps as soon as Saturday Night’s Main Event.

After that, WWE could choose to split the rivals across different brands to keep them apart.

A move to Raw could see McIntyre align with former enemy CM Punk against Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker, or even join their rising faction.
