On the road to WrestleMania 42, fans have seen several legends be announced for the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony.

While the likes of AJ Styles, Stephanie McMahon and Demolition are heading into the class of 2026, there are several names on the WWE roster who could be inducted sooner rather than later, none more than Randy Orton.

“The Legend Killer” has accomplished everything he can in WWE and deserves to be inducted into the hallowed halls in the near future. This would beg the question who could possibly induct Orton into the Hall of Fame.

Here are eight options who will potentially induct Randy Orton into the WWE Hall of Fame.

8. “Cowboy” Bob Orton

When he was first introduced to WWE, Randy Orton debuted as only the second third-generation star in the company’s history.

The son of “Cowboy” Bob Orton has achieved so much over the course of the past 23 years of his career.

Bob Orton is a WWE Hall of Famer in his own right with a career that rivals many and set the groundwork for “The Viper” to become the star he is today.

Having “Cowboy” Bob induct his son Randy makes a ton of sense and would be a touching induction from his father.

7. The Undertaker

The Undertaker has now become the official who announces when a legend will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Back at WWE Wrestlepalooza 2025, Taker informed Stephanie McMahon that she will be the first inductee, while he recently appeared on the February 23 episode of WWE Raw that the recently retired AJ Styles will be the next to head into the Hall of Fame.

During his career, Randy Orton was embroiled in a memorable rivalry with “The Deadman” that included a Hell In A Cell Match.

Taker inducting Orton into the WWE Hall of Fame would be intriguing with their history together and current places as all-time greats in the company’s history.

6. Kevin Owens

Randy Orton has made a lot of close friends throughout his career in the company, including Kevin Owens.

While Orton and Owens were embroiled in a rivalry heading into WrestleMania 41, the two men have been linked to one another outside of the squared circle.

Owens is currently sidelined following neck surgery, but he has been contributing to WWE in non-wrestling roles.

Owens returning to induct Orton into the Hall of Fame could shed some light on their real-life friendship in a meaningful way.

5. Cody Rhodes

At WWE Elimination Chamber 2026, Randy Orton defeated Cody Rhodes, Logan Paul, Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans and LA Knight to win the Men’s Elimination Chamber and advance to face the Undisputed WWE Champion at WrestleMania 42.

Then on the March 6 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Cody Rhodes defeated Drew McIntyre to win the Undisputed WWE Championship.

This means Rhodes will now defend the Undisputed WWE Title against Orton at WrestleMania 42, which will pit these longtime friends against one another on “The Grandest Stage of Them All.”

With their lengthy friendship dating back to their days in the Legacy faction, it would make sense if Rhodes inducts Orton into the WWE Hall of Fame to celebrate the career of “The Legend Killer” and talk about their years-long relationship.

In 2003, Orton was recruited as one of the first members of the Evolution stable led by Triple H.

Ric Flair was brought in to be the legendary mentor to Triple H, Batista and Randy Orton in the group, giving some guidance to the other Evolution members.

Flair returning to WWE to induct Orton would be fitting to talk about those early years and how much he has grown over the past 24 years in his career.

3. Batista

Speaking of Evolution, Randy Orton was looked at as the future of the pro wrestling business alongside Batista.

Orton has not only been a stablemate in the Evolution faction, but he has also been a rival to Batista for years.

Whether it be during their days in Evolution to feuding over the WWE Championship, Batista and Orton have been in each other’s lives for over two decades.

Looking at his career, there might not be anyone who has known and seen the growth in Orton over the years quite like Batista, making him a perfect person to induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Someone who has known Randy Orton inside and out over the past 24 years is Triple H.

“The Game” and “The Legend Killer” have been stablemates in Evolution and feuded with one another over multiple years.

Now, Triple H is Orton’s boss and has gotten to know him from that perspective in a meaningful way.

Considering his place in WWE today, Triple H would feel like a perfect individual who could firmly celebrate Orton for all of his accomplishments and contributions to the business.

While many fans might call Triple H his greatest rival, there are other fans who might consider John Cena the greatest feud in Randy Orton’s career.

Considered as peers during their days in OVW to being introduced in WWE, Orton and Cena came up in the business together and grew parallel to one another.

At WWE Backlash 2025, Cena and Orton clashed one last time before “The Never Seen 17” retired later in the year.

Cena returning to the company to induct Orton into the WWE Hall of Fame feels appropriate in so many ways considering how much they have influenced each other’s careers.
