CM Punk returned to WWE in 2023 and has since more than cemented himself as one of the biggest stars in the company again.
Now the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, Punk is walking into his second main event match at WrestleMania this time against Roman Reigns one-on-one.
At 47 years old, it is clear that Punk has more years behind him than in front and could be a future WWE Hall of Fame inductee that might have any number of stars there to induct him during the special ceremony.
Here are seven stars who could potentially induct CM Punk into the WWE Hall of Fame.
7. Cody Rhodes

CM Punk has noted that he has very few friends in the wrestling industry, but Cody Rhodes is one of those who remains close to “The Best In The World.”
Over the past few years, fans have been able to see the friendship between Punk and Rhodes first hand in promo segments and in different scenarios.
Punk and Rhodes have regularly had each other’s backs whenever the time was right with their rivalries with the likes of The Vision and more.
When it is time for Punk to be entered into the WWE Hall of Fame, there might not be anyone better suited to induct him than Rhodes in the coming years.
6. Paul Heyman

CM Punk is the individual who originally coined the phrase being a “Paul Heyman Guy” on WWE TV.
Since Punk first signed with the company in 2005, he instantly created a friendship with former ECW owner and then-OVW creative head Paul Heyman.
This led to the two men reuniting when Heyman managed Punk during his historic 434-day reign as WWE Champion in 2012 and 2013.
Despite Heyman betraying his friend during his first WrestleMania main event in 2025, it would not be that surprising to see “The Wise Man” having the honor to induct Punk into the WWE Hall of Fame when that day comes.
5. Triple H

No one has had as tumultuous and rollercoaster of a relationship with CM Punk as much as current WWE CCO Triple H.
During their days as in-ring competitors, Triple H and Punk regularly bumped heads and even led to the conflict that saw “The Best In The World” leaving WWE back in 2014.
However, their relationship has drastically changed for the better since Punk’s return to WWE in 2023 where they are quite close now.
With that mutual respect and understanding, it would be a huge statement to how far they have come if Triple H chose himself to induct Punk into the WWE Hall of Fame when it is time for him to go in.

4. Seth Rollins

Another up-and-down relationship for CM Punk currently in WWE has to be his one with Seth Rollins.
Once a mentor to Rollins and now one of his greatest rivals, Punk has fought tooth-and-nail with “The Visionary” since making his WWE return in 2023.
From WrestleMania 41 to being cashed in on at WWE SummerSlam 2025, there is no love lost between Punk and Rollins to this day.
When their careers are over, Rollins has admitted they could finally come to an understanding that might lead to him being the one to induct CM Punk into the WWE Hall of Fame for everything he has contributed to the business both men love so much.
3. Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre has admitted on more than one occasion CM Punk was someone that he and the rest of the locker room looked up to.
However, both men left the company in two totally different ways and returned in similar fashion with McIntyre being released only to come back in 2017 and Punk choosing to leave in 2014 only to return in 2023.
This return led to Punk and McIntyre going to war with one another throughout 2024 and saw both men have one of the most violent Hell In A Cell matches of all time at Bad Blood that same year.
When the dust settles on both men’s careers, it feels like they will both realize how crucial their rivalry was to one another and could see McIntyre induct Punk into the WWE Hall of Fame when the time is right for him to go in.

2. AJ Lee

AJ Lee feels like such a no-brainer option to induct her husband CM Punk into the WWE Hall of Fame.
The two legendary stars met each other during their first runs with WWE and sparks flew almost immediately.
Lee and Punk have been attached at the hip ever since and are now champions on WWE television after all of these years.
Considering their importance to each other’s careers and lives, Lee would be the perfect choice to have the honor of inducting her husband into the WWE Hall of Fame one day.
1. John Cena

When most fans are asked about CM Punk’s greatest rival, the answer is usually John Cena.
Punk sparked this feud in 2011 when he was the leader of the New Nexus, but things would reach another level when he challenged Cena for the WWE Championship in his hometown of Chicago at Money In The Bank that same year.
From the Pipebomb and iconic battle at Money In The Bank to their wars over the WWE Title and recent main event showdown at Night of Champions 2025, Cena and Punk’s careers will forever be linked due to how important it was to how fans remember them both.
Punk and Cena are pro wrestling soulmates in so many ways that it would make too much sense to have “The Never Seen 17” induct “The Best In The World” into the WWE Hall of Fame down the line.
