With just over five weeks away from “The Show of Shows,” there might be some big time matches and stipulations added to the card for WrestleMania 42.
Over the next few episodes of WWE Raw and SmackDown, the company will add some major bouts or might even include some stipulations to the already announced matches on the lineup.
Considering WWE wants to sell more tickets for the two-night event from Las Vegas, the different match types added to the card will cause an increased interest to “The Showcase of the Immortals.”
Here are eight stipulations to be potentially added to WWE WrestleMania 42 matches.
8. The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax & Lash Legend) vs. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs. The Judgment Day (Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez) vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria vs. The Bella Twins (Brie & Nikki Bella) in Tag Team Turmoil for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships

On the February 27 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, The Irresistible Forces defeated RHIYO to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
Over the past few months, the women’s tag team scene has become one of the most competitive divisions in the company today.
Outside of Nia Jax and Lash Legend, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss recently became number one contenders for the titles, while the likes of The Bella Twins, The Judgment Day and Bayley and Lyra Valkyria have been gunning for the gold for months.
Throwing all these duos into a Tag Team Turmoil might be the best way to highlight several different female stars on the roster at WWE WrestleMania 42.

7. The MFTs (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, JC Mateo & Talla Tonga) vs. The Wyatt Sicks (Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis & Joe Gacy) in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match

Since October 2025, The MFTs and The Wyatt Sicks have been embroiled in a feud on Friday Night SmackDown.
The two warring factions have traded the WWE Tag Team Championships and Uncle Howdy’s signature lantern.
While these two stables have collided in multi-man action in the past, there could be one final battle between The MFTs and The Wyatt Sicks at WrestleMania 42.
“The Grandest Stage of Them All” should feature a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match between The MFTs and The Wyatt Sicks to determine which of these is the better faction once and for all.

6. Penta vs. The Original El Grande Americano vs. El Grande Americano vs. Dragon Lee vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Je’Von Evans in a Ladder Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

On the March 2 episode of Monday Night Raw, Penta defeated Dominik Mysterio to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
Now that he has won his first title in WWE, Penta looks to prove himself as a fighting champion moving forward.
There have been several stars over the past few months who have been looking to get into contention for the title, such as The Original El Grande Americano, El Grande Americano, Dragon Lee, Kofi Kingston and Je’Von Evans.
Having a six-way ladder match for the IC Title would be an intriguing opportunity for Penta to show himself as someone who is not willing to back down from any challenge regardless of the number of contenders coming after him at WrestleMania 42.

5. Finn Balor vs. Dominik Mysterio in a Street Fight

Losing the Intercontinental Championship on the March 2 edition of WWE Raw, Dominik Mysterio placed the blame on his Judgment Day stablemate Finn Balor.
It was Balor who stopped his stablemate JD McDonagh from helping “Dirty Dom” against Penta on the episode and thus led to things coming to a head a week later.
On the March 9 episode of Raw, The Judgment Day turned on Balor and laid him out in a four-on-one beatdown.
This should lead to Balor facing Mysterio in a Street Fight to settle their issues that has spanned the last two years in The Judgment Day at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

4. AJ Lee vs. Becky Lynch in an I Quit Match for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship

Since making her return to WWE in September 2025, AJ Lee has been a thorn in Becky Lynch’s side, making “The Man” tap out on two occasions.
Then at WWE Elimination Chamber 2026, Lee defeated Lynch to capture the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
After winning her first title in over a decade, Lee looks to prove herself as a fighting champion and will defend her gold against Bayley on the March 16 WWE Raw.
However, this shouldn’t stop “Big Time Becks” from coming after the title she proudly held on two occasions and finally getting revenge on Lee in an I Quit Match based on being made to submit three times previously at WrestleMania 42.

3. Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker in a Last Man Standing Match

Back in October 2025, Seth Rollins suffered a serious shoulder injury and was forced to relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship.
After being sidelined with an injury, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman of The Vision turned on Rollins and took him out for months.
Following months of a masked man making The Vision’s lives a living hell, it was revealed that Rollins was behind the mask as he cost Logan Paul the Men’s Elimination Chamber at the WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 premium live event.
Considering he is currently out after undergoing hernia surgery, Bron Breakker could make his return to face Rollins in a Last Man Standing Match at WrestleMania 42.

2. Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu in a Hell In A Cell Match

On the January 9 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Jacob Fatu made his return to WWE and inadvertently helped Drew McIntyre defeat Cody Rhodes in a Three Stages of Hell Match to become the new Undisputed WWE Championship.
After weeks and weeks of brawls and conflict with one another, Rhodes regained the WWE Title from McIntyre on the March 6 SmackDown thanks in large part to Fatu stopping Drew from cheating to win.
Now that he has lost the WWE Championship, McIntyre will be looking for revenge against “The Samoan Werewolf.”
If Fatu is set to collide with McIntyre, it should be in a stipulation that helps these two stars settle the score once and for all like Hell In A Cell at WrestleMania 42 from Las Vegas, Nevada.

1. CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns in a Bloodline Rules Match for the World Heavyweight Championship

At WWE Royal Rumble 2026, Roman Reigns made his return to win the Men’s Royal Rumble Match and punch his ticket for WrestleMania 42.
“The OTC” then chose World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk to face in the main event of “The Showcase of the Immortals” this April.
In the weeks since then, things have gotten truly personal, especially after Punk stated that he would bury Reigns next to his late father at “The Show of Shows.”
Considering “The Best In The World” brought his family into this rivalry, it would be appropriate if Reigns faced Punk in a Bloodline Rules Match at WrestleMania 42 with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line.
