Over the past few months, Solo Sikoa and The MFTs have been feuding with Uncle Howdy and The Wyatt Sicks. This faction warfare has become one of the most significant feuds featured on WWE SmackDown.
This feud has led to Damian Priest and R-Truth defeating The MFTs to win the WWE Tag Team Championship thanks to interference from The Wyatt Sicks on the March 20 episode of SmackDown.
Following some dissension being shown between Sikoa and the group, this could lead to a new leader taking the mantle of the faction moving forward.
Here are six potential replacements for Solo Sikoa as the leader of The MFTs faction.
6. Tama Tonga

In recent months, Tama Tonga has started to stand out on his own within The MFTs faction.
Tonga has picked up some signature wins in singles competition against the likes of Ilja Dragunov and Shinsuke Nakamura.
This has led to Nakamura confronting Tonga about his role as a loyal soldier to Solo Sikoa in The MFTs.
After their tense interaction on the March 20 SmackDown, Tama Tonga could be the right choice to take over as leader of The MFTs from Solo now that this feud with The Wyatt Sicks has gotten the better of him.
5. Shinsuke Nakamura

Speaking of Tama Tonga, he has been in an ongoing storyline with another former NJPW star Shinsuke Nakamura.
‘The King of Strong Style’ has known Tonga for nearly two decades since meeting in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Calling out who he really is, Nakamura has been trying to get Tonga to break free from the shackles put on him by Solo Sikoa and The MFTs.
Nakamura taking over The MFTs would be an interesting route to explore, as he could become a leader to the group that features more former NJPW talent in its ranks.
4. Uncle Howdy

As previously mentioned, The Wyatt Sicks and The MFTs have been at each other’s throats over the past several months.
At the center of this feud have been Solo Sikoa and Uncle Howdy, who have led their groups in this ongoing war on Friday Night SmackDown.
Sikoa stealing the sacred lantern that once belonged to Bray Wyatt has caused him more problems than he bargained for.
Howdy breaking down the psyche could lead to not only his defeat of Sikoa, but The Wyatt Sicks leader taking over The MFTs in Solo’s place.

3. Jey Uso

During his time in The Bloodline, Jey Uso became the person who challenged Roman Reigns‘ position as the ‘Tribal Chief’ on several occasions.
Uso faced off with Reigns in a Tribal Combat Match back at WWE SummerSlam 2023 with not only the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship up for grabs, but also the Ula Fala that represents the status of the ‘Tribal Chief.’
All these years later, Jey is now a former World Heavyweight Champion and Intercontinental Champion, having proven himself as a singles star.
While he is now reunited with Jimmy and one half of the World Tag Team Champions, Jey Uso could return to SmackDown where he can take over The MFTs in place of his younger brother Solo Sikoa down the line.
2. Jacob Fatu

When he first debuted in WWE back in 2024, Jacob Fatu was introduced as the enforcer to Solo Sikoa’s New Bloodline.
‘The Samoan Werewolf’ was among the most loyal members of The New Bloodline and always expressed his love to Sikoa.
In the first half of 2025, Sikoa lost the status of ‘Tribal Chief’ to Roman Reigns, which led to Fatu eventually turning on Solo after the dynamics of their relationship changed.
If Solo is out of the way, The MFTs might look to Fatu to fill in the void left behind by Sikoa once he is usurped as the leader of the faction.
1. Roman Reigns

On the March 20 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Tama Tonga questioned Solo Sikoa about his broken psyche in the midst of this rivalry between The MFTs and The Wyatt Sicks.
When arguing with The MFTs leader, Tonga called out Sikoa for starting to act like his former Bloodline leader Roman Reigns.
Meanwhile, Reigns has recently reunited with The Usos during his rivalry with CM Punk heading into WrestleMania 42.
Wanting to bring his entire family together, Reigns could take over The MFTs and merge the group with The Usos to create an even bigger Bloodline than fans have seen before.
