WWE has confirmed that Roman Reigns is set to be part of the Clash In Paris premium live event coming up on August 31.

Reigns is set for another hiatus soon due to his role in the new Street Fighter movie, but will then be back in time for Survivor Series ‘WarGames’ in November.

While his match is yet to be announced, here are five potential matchups that we could see him in at Clash In Paris.

5. Roman Reigns, CM Punk & LA Knight vs. Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed

On the August 4 edition of WWE Raw, Roman Reigns made a surprise appearance in the aftermath of the main event, attempting to go after The Vision faction, who had beaten down CM Punk and LA Knight.

His efforts were, however, thwarted, and he, like Punk and Knight, was left laying by The Vision’s Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed.

There are several potential matchups stemming from this angle, but the most logical one appears to be a trios match.

At Clash in Paris, it seems likely that we could see The Vision’s trio against Reigns, CM Punk, and LA Knight.

4. Roman Reigns vs. Bron Breakker

Paul Heyman recently dropped another “spoiler” on WWE Raw, noting that Bron Breakker would headline WrestleManias for years to come.

More than just a storyline, this was likely foreshadowing the future; few people have been better at predicting, and indeed attaching themselves to future stars, than Heyman.

For Bron to become that main event star, the path goes through Roman Reigns – a bout between the pair, a passing of the torch moment, lies in the near future.

However, that time does not appear to be now – it’s not likely to happen at Clash in Paris, but WrestleMania 42, that is another story…

3. Roman Reigns & CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker

Both Roman Reigns and CM Punk have storyline reasons to want a one-on-one match against Seth Rollins.

It is clear that Punk will soon get a shot against Rollins after having the title he’d just won at SummerSlam stolen, though this may not come as soon as Clash in Paris.

We could, however, see Punk and Reigns form another uneasy alliance – as they did at Survivor Series 2024 – to take on Rollins and Breakker.

At WWE’s Clash in Paris, we could once again see Reigns in an all-star tag match.

2. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins

A one-on-one bout for Roman Reigns at WWE’s Clash in Paris is not out of the question.

There remains no storyline payoff for Reigns after Seth Rollins once again betrayed him, turning heel and stealing his longtime “Wiseman” at WrestleMania 41.

Former members of The Shield, their careers remain forever intertwined, and another singles bout between them is inevitable.

However, the possibility of this happening at Clash in Paris, while not implausible, currently seems unlikely – with other matches likely to take priority first.

1. Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed

The most likely storyline direction, it appears, is a clash with Bronson Reed.

Reed has now beaten Reigns down on two separate occasions, stealing his shoes and hitting him with multiple Tsunami splashes.

The storyline of Bronson Reed playing the bully and humiliating Reigns by taking his footwear seems to be setting up a singles encounter.

At WWE Clash in Paris, we could see Reigns wrestle back his pride as well as his kicks!
