While there still remains a shroud of mystery over who will face Randy Orton at WWE WrestleMania 41 – he is reportedly still set for a match.
With Kevin Owens ruled out of action, a replacement is needed to take on The Viper in what will be his 20th WrestleMania.
Here are eight potential Randy Orton WWE WrestleMania 41 opponents.
8. Ricky Saints

If there was anyone from the NXT roster that could randomly challenge Randy Orton, Ricky Saints might be that man.
With Saints poised to potentially leave NXT Stand & Deliver without the title he just captured if he loses to Ethan Page, it wouldn’t be that bizarre to see Ricky appear shortly thereafter on the WrestleMania 41 main card.
Already popular with WWE fans, Saints’ debut could provide a Cody Rhodes-esque surprise for both casual fans (who could be instantly delighted by his charisma) as well as avid professional wrestling watchers.
While he may still have some time left in NXT before he is called up to the main roster, surely whenever Saints does arrive, he will be destined for a major WrestleMania moment in the future.

7. Solo Sikoa

Potentially the most likely opponent for Randy Orton that may emerge ahead of WrestleMania 41 is Solo Sikoa.
While the two have had continued run-ins, a singles match at WrestleMania against Randy Orton could be a career defining moment for Solo Sikoa.
With Sikoa’s chokehold on SmackDown having waned in recent months, a win over Orton would really establish himself.
Conversely, Orton capturing victory over Solo Sikoa could set up a very intriguing set of storyline points as his new Bloodline is seemingly crumbling.

6. Nick Aldis

While it Seems as though the storyline may actually be headed towards Sikoa vs. Orton at WrestleMania 41, a detour could be justified if Orton were to take on Nick Aldis.
Aldis has yet to make his WWE in-ring debut but the former TNA and NWA World Champion has commented that he isn’t retired from in-ring competition. Rather, he has been portraying the SmackDown GM since his arrival in WWE.
After the recent revelation that Orton’s match would be cancelled at WrestleMania 41 due to Kevin Owens needing to be removed due to injury, Nick Aldis was on the receiving end of an errant RKO.
While this match may not end up being destined for WrestleMania 41, it has certainly sparked fans’ imaginations about what could happen between the pair,

5. Rusev

Off of television for the last year, nearly as soon as it was reported that Miro had departed AEW fans were already hopeful that he would be making a return to WWE.
The former Rusev was later spotted at WWE HQ and speculation kicked into overdrive about when could be making a return.
While his return has yet to be officially confirmed by WWE, it was confirmed by WWE star Big E on a live stream. While opening trading cards, one featuring Rusev was in the pack and the former New Day member confirmed that it was official via the Bulgarian star himself – he is returning to WWE.
Whether or not Las Vegas gets to be the first to experience this latest version of Rusev Day still remains to be seen, but it would be pretty great.

4. Aleister Black

Another former WWE star who is slated for return from a stay in AEW is Aleister Black.
While fans have already assumed that the recent dark themed vignettes from SmackDown were related to his return, no exact comeback date has been provided.
While the mystery remains, he would be a pretty exciting replacement for Randy Orton’s opponent albeit even more interesting if it launched into a proper feud.
With Randy Orton also currently seemingly without a clear future feud, the moment for Black to return at WrestleMania 41 may be perfect.

3. Joe Hendry

Perhaps there could be a surprise opponent from outside WWE pop by to take on Randy Orton in Las Vegas!
TNA Wrestling World Champion Joe Hendry would be an amazing substitution to face Orton, because while it would be incredibly fun for the crowd, the result would be fairly inconsequential.
Easily able to lose and still appear both strong and beloved, Joe Hendry could plant the seeds for future rivalries right now.
With Hendry widely presumed to be WWE-bound when he wraps up with TNA Wrestling, it would make sense to see him make a big main roster appearance at WrestleMania following his Royal Rumble entry in February.

2. Jeff Hardy

However, if WWE is going to call upon any TNA Wrestling star to get into the ring with Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41, there is only one true choice.
There may never be a better time to see the surprise return of Jeff Hardy to WWE than to take on his old rival, Randy Orton.
Giving an easy opportunity for Matt and Jeff to hit the stage for WrestleMania 41 without a long lasting impact to any new stories, there is undeniable history and chemistry between the pair that would be fun to see again.
With so much that has gone on for both of them since they last met in singles action in 2021, it would be a truly legendary WrestleMania moment.

1. Omos

Where in the world is Omos?! We know he is back from Japan, WWE – where are you hiding him?
After having a successful month-long run, Omos relinquished the Pro Wrestling NOAH tag team championship in January 2025 with comment that he was returning to WWE.
However, he has yet to return to the ring and in fact hasn’t been in action in WWE since April 2024’s Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal ahead of WrestleMania 40.
According to a recent report, Omos is available for action but isn’t planned for any specific storylines at the minute.
