New WWE NXT General Manager

Since 2023, Ava has served as the WWE NXT General Manager, maintaining order on the brand and making high profile matchups.

Growing in the role and as an on-screen performer overall, Ava has improved on the mic and as a character along the way.

While Ava has done well in the position, there is a chance she might want to continue her pursuit of an in-ring career in the future, which would open the door for someone to fill her spot as the NXT GM.

Here are seven potentially new WWE NXT General Managers.

7. Stevie Turner

With Ava at the helm, the fourth-generation star has looked to others for her journey in this authority figure role.

One person that has been by Ava’s side for a majority of her run as NXT GM is Stevie Turner.

The former in-ring performer has found her footing in the company as the assistant to Ava, which has led to her becoming the Prime Minister on the WWE Evolve brand.

Turner has played a significant role on the revival brand and showcased herself as someone who would do very well one day as the NXT General Manager.

6. Robert Stone

The other person who has been positioned as an assistant to Ava over on WWE NXT is Robert Stone.

Being introduced to WWE audiences in a managerial role, Stone has displayed his talking ability and established his character very well.

Making the transition to a semi-authority figure position has helped to see him in a different light and allowed him to flirt with a similar role over on TNA Wrestling.

Despite his current role as the color commentator on WWE Evolve, Stone might be the one chosen to take Ava’s position if she decides to remove herself as NXT General Manager.

5. Santino Marella

TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella on WWE NXT

In 2023, Santino Marella returned to TNA Wrestling and was named the Director of Authority.

Since then, the former Intercontinental Champion has become one of the more beloved stars on TNA programming and used his position to restore order to the company.

On the July 22 edition of WWE NXT, Santino confronted Ethan Page and issued a challenge for his NXT North American Championship on the July 29 episode.

Following this match, the seeds may be sowed for Marella to one day take on the position as WWE NXT General Manager where he can continue his brand of authority figure work.

4. Arianna Grace

Going from father to daughter, Arianna Grace has worked closely with Santino Marella as of late over on TNA Wrestling.

The WWE NXT star has been an entertaining act on the company’s programming as well as TNA IMPACT, but they have not found her a consistent spotlight as an in-ring performer.

Using her strong character work might be the best way for Arianna to be showcased in a prominent spot on the show.

After acting as the liaison between NXT and TNA Wrestling, Grace could have proven herself as someone who could make a seamless transition to the General Manager position in the near future.

3. Paige

In March, Saraya announced her departure from All Elite Wrestling after a three-year run with the promotion.

Making it no secret that she is open to making a return to WWE, it should only be a matter of time before Saraya, then known as Paige, made her back in the flow of things.

After several years away, fans would be very happy to see Paige back under the WWE umbrella and would be a full circle moment having her return to the NXT brand.

Paige returning to the brand as the NXT General Manager would feel very poetic with the inaugural women’s champion running things for the next generation of WWE stars.

2. Booker T

Returning to the company as a color commentator, Booker T has been on the call of some of the biggest matches and moments for the WWE NXT brand.

While he has been entertaining in this role, the WWE Hall of Famer might be better suited to switch things up a bit by taking on the GM spot.

The six-time world champion has the credibility and resume that should garner respect from the roster and could command the attention of the audience for major announcements.

Booker T as WWE NXT General Manager will be something that could bring more eyes to the product and further cement his importance to the brand.

1. The Undertaker

The Undertaker on WWE NXT

On the July 22 edition of WWE NXT, The Undertaker showed up in his hometown of Houston to confront TNA World Champion Trick Williams.

Laying out Trick with a chokeslam, “The Deadman” proved once again that he will not take any disrespect and would be someone who would feel right as an authority figure.

With Taker reportedly taking on more of a creative role backstage, he could easily also fill the spot of NXT General Manager when things become official.

Taker has the legendary status that would feel fitting as the GM and would add a tremendous amount of star power to the WWE NXT brand weekly if he were to sign on.
