On the March 11 episode of WWE Evolve, Kendal Grey vacated the Evolve Women’s Championship to officially join the NXT roster.
With Grey now heading to WWE NXT, it leaves an opening for one of the other female stars on Evolve to win the championship gold.
Whether it be an up-and-coming talent or a veteran winning their first title, there is a lot of opportunity for the rest of the WWE Evolve roster to pick up their biggest win now that Grey is heading elsewhere.
Here are eight new potential WWE Evolve Women’s Champions.
8. PJ Vasa
After a memorable run on the first two seasons of WWE LFG, PJ Vasa made her way to WWE Evolve.
Vasa has been able to showcase her strength and intensity in a major way, becoming one of the most prominent stars on Evolve right now.
At WWE Evolve Succession II, Kendal Grey defeated Vasa in a Street Fight to retain the Evolve Women’s Championship.
Now that her competition in Grey is out of the way, this could create the chance for Vasa to finally win her first title in WWE.

7. Adriana Rizzo
In 2022, Adriana Rizzo signed with WWE as one of the members of the Performance Center Fall Rookie Class.
Soon thereafter, Rizzo made her debut as a member of the D’Angelo Family alongside Tony D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo.
However, Rizzo found herself on the outside looking in on WWE NXT after the D’Angelo Family disbanded in 2025 and she suffered a torn ACL & Meniscus.
Now without a consistent role on NXT, Rizzo could make her way to WWE Evolve when she returns from injury where she could step up to become a champion for the first time.

6. Wendy Choo
On WWE Evolve, Wendy Choo has become a veteran presence who first made her name in NXT and added some credibility to the revival brand.
Going from her sleepy psycho persona to a more human version of herself, Choo has undergone a character change that has added depth to who she is in WWE.
From her rivalry with Kylie Rae to the major change she underwent against Kendal Grey, it has become clear that Choo is an important part of the Evolve women’s division.
Choo finally putting it all together to win the WWE Evolve Women’s Championship would feel like a crowning achievement based on how long she has been in the company since 2019.

5. Tyra Mae Steele
In the first season of WWE LFG, it was evident that Tyra Mae Steele had the best chance to win from the ladies side.
The Olympic Gold Medalist came in with the legitimacy and credibility that made it possible for her to pick up the win and earn an NXT contract.
While she did make some appearances on NXT following her LFG win, Steele would find a new home on WWE Evolve.
After making it clear that her sights were set on the gold, Steele feels like a no-brainer option to win the WWE Evolve Women’s Championship following Kendal Grey’s exit.

4. Karmen Petrovic
On the February 11 episode of WWE Evolve, Kendal Grey defeated Karmen Petrovic to retain the WWE Evolve Women’s Championship.
Making her name on NXT, Petrovic has come into Evolve, looking to further establish herself following some start-and-stop pushes.
After her association with Nattie and relationship with Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis, Petrovic has been on the hunt for her first championship gold in WWE.
Petrovic winning the WWE Evolve Women’s Championship would feel very fulfilling for fans who have been following along with her career since signing with the company in 2022.

3. Nikkita Lyons
Another WWE NXT star who has made Evolve her home over the past year is Nikkita Lyons.
In the summer of 2021, Lyons made her debut with WWE and started to become a presence on the NXT brand.
Due to injuries, Lyons found herself without a consistent spot on the NXT roster, so she made the transition to WWE Evolve upon the start of the revival brand in 2025.
With her role as one of the biggest heels in the Evolve women’s division, Lyons could play a dominant champion for the scene moving forward.

2. Carlee Bright
When WWE Evolve started in 2025, the first match saw Kendal Grey and Carlee Bright pick up a victory over Kali Armstrong and Dani Palmer.
The friendship between Grey and Bright went through different developments with the more serious Kendal not liking the positive approach and sunny disposition of Carlee.
However, it was this bond that helped Grey become the WWE Evolve Women’s Champion with Bright by her side. After months, Carlee and Kendal decided to go their separate ways as Grey started getting opportunities on NXT.
Now that Grey is officially part of the NXT women’s division, it might be time for Bright to step up in a major way to win the title left behind by her friend.

1. Kali Armstrong
Back at WWE Evolve Succession in October 2025, Kendal Grey defeated Kali Armstrong to win the WWE Evolve Women’s Championship.
Since then, Armstrong has been on the hunt to get back the title that she became the first holder of back in May 2025.
After a series of losses to Grey and PJ Vasa, Armstrong had to get back to basics and re-find herself as well as her passion.
Considering her role in establishing the title, there might not be a better option to become the next WWE Evolve Women’s Champion than the original titleholder in Kali Armstrong at this time.
