With WWE 2K26 playable characters continuing to be confirmed ahead of the game’s release, there could be even more new stars coming to the DLC roster for the game.
With DLC plans likely to drop in the months ahead, there could be some last minute additions to this iteration of the game based on changes to the roster in real life.
Here are six potential new WWE 2K26 DLC characters that could end up being added to the game post launch.
6. Royce Keys
Making his big debut at the WWE Royal Rumble 2026, Royce Keys could certainly find himself hitting another big milestone in 2026.
Potentially popping up as a DLC Character for WWE 2K26, Royce Keys could find himself in his first ever WWE game.
With an impressive stature and move set, Royce Keys would be a dynamic addition to singles and multi-man gameplay.
Featuring in the AEW Fight Forever game under his former name Powerhouse Hobbs, Keys might poised to join CM Punk, Jade Cargill, Ricky Saints & Cody Rhodes as playable characters in both.

5. Matt Cardona
A likely addition for WWE 2K26 even if it does have to wait for a DLC addition would be Matt Cardona.
Technically a return to the WWE 2k26 series since Zack Ryder has previously appeared in many games throughout the series, the addition of this iteration of the star is brand new.
Adding a layer of fun, it could be enjoyable to see a return of Zack Ryder to WWE 2K26 as well as Matt Cardona so that fans can pick which version of the Long Island native they’d prefer to have on their roster.
After re-signing with WWE and signing with SmackDown, Cardona has regained his fan favorite status – making him seemingly a likely candidate to join the playable character line-up soon.

4. El Hijo del Vikingo
Eagle eyed fans noticed that in an ad post on Twitter for WWE Supercard featuring El Hijo del Vikingo, he was seated in an unusual chair.
Seated in a scanning booth, it could be that Vikingo was being scanned for upcoming action figures but also — it could be a tease of a future inclusion in WWE 2K26.
With WWE acquiring AAA in 2025, it would make sense to see the brand represented on some level in the upcoming WWE 2K26 release. It has been reported that Vikingo is actually signed to a WWE deal so he is perhaps the most likely of the roster to be featured.
Perhaps making for the ideal DLC pack as a group, there could be more top names from AAA making their way into the WWE video game universe soon.

3. Konnan
One legendary name that could come along with a AAA DLC pack could be current commentator and creative team member, Konnan.
Featuring in numerous memorable WCW video games, Konnan was also a character in the 2010 video game release, Lucha Libre AAA: Héroes del Ring.
Other potential additions from AAA may be Mr. Iguana, Psycho Clown, Octagon Jr. and La Hiedra, if not more.
Able to open up some intriguing possibilities for fans to set up dream matches, it could be that the inclusion of multiple waves of AAA could be coming to 2K26 and beyond.

2. Danhausen
Another potential WWE surprise coming soon could be the arrival of Danhausen to WWE.
With an intriguing mystery kicking off on WWE Raw on February 16 with the arrival of a large crate featuring the instruction of ‘Deliver to WWE’ and ‘Do Not Open until 2/28/2026’, speculation has already run amok.
With some fans wondering if the surprise could be related to a return from Chris Jericho, others seem to point to the “Very Nice, Very Evil” star as a suspect as well.
Certainly able to make a memorable debut by emerging from inside the crate, the moment could also be a fun nod to fans that have been anxiously awaiting his next moves in his over two years on the AEW bench.

1. Chris Jericho
With Chris Jericho’s future still mysterious, it could be that he is set to make an arrival to WWE in the next several months.
Although he hasn’t made a return to WWE or even confirmed that he is planning to re-sign with the company, there are plenty of fans anxiously awaiting his potential return to the company and maybe, WWE video games as well.
If he is to make a return in the coming months, Jericho very well may pop up later in the Summer as a member of a DLC pack for WWE 2K26, with a special Jericho tie-in surrounding SummerSlam a possibility.
With Jericho having many different looks over the years, we could see an entire Y2J pack consisting of his various models throughout his career.
