With 2025 having already been a solid year for AEW signings, it could be that there are still a few more new faces to appear before the end of the year.
From international stars making a big impact in NJPW or the indies, there could also be some familiar faces that recently departed WWE or TNA Wrestling.
Here are five potential AEW signings to debut soon.
5. Cedric Alexander

The only member that is still missing from The Hurt Syndicate in AEW from its original WWE iteration is Cedric Alexander
While Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin and MVP were all signed to AEW last year, after Alexander was released from WWE he elected for a spell in TNA Wrestling.
Recently being reported as someone who is out of contract with TNA but may still be in action in the company — it could be that the new year could hold a new adventure for the former WWE Tag Team Champion.
Possibly reuniting with his former stable on AEW, it could also be an interesting introduction for him to be brought in as someone initially opposed to The Hurt Syndicate.

4. Man Like DeReiss

A free agent who continues to make his presence felt around the UK indie scene is Man Like DeReiss.
Making for a great pick-up for AEW, the current PROGRESS World Champion could join the roster and make an immediate impact.
While he was notably in attendance for a WWE tryout in the UK back in March and spoke highly of the experience, it could end up that the charismatic star ends up in AEW.
Able to bring a TV ready gimmick as well as solid in-ring skills, Man Like DeReiss could end up being a major player soon.

3. Lacey Lane & Kacy Catanzaro

One duo that departed WWE but could make their way to AEW together are Lacey Lane (fka Kayden Carter) and Kacy Catanzaro (fka Katana Chance).
Already making a debut appearance on AEW TV, it could be that the next time Lane pops up it could be with her former NXT & WWE tag team partner, Kacy Catanzaro.
While Lane has returned to in-ring action, Catanzaro has not had a public match in a wrestling ring but has returned to her former passion — American Ninja Warrior.
With uncertainty for what the future holds for her within professional wrestling, perhaps returning with Lane to get a shot at the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship would be too enticing to resist.

2. Mike Santana

While having a landmark run in his second spell in TNA Wrestling, Mike Santana’s reported contract situation could potentially lead to an exit at the end of the year, providing a new deal isn’t agreed.
While there is reportedly interest in Mike Santana from WWE, it could be that the star makes a triumphant return to AEW instead.
Completely reinventing his character into a solo main event star in TNA Wrestling, it would make for surprising turn of events to see Santana go in reverse and go back to AEW rather than head to WWE.
With potential unfinished business with other AEW characters in addition to new rivalries, it would be entertaining to see Mike Santana make a major mark on AEW.

1. Gabe Kidd

A possible import from NJPW, Gabe Kidd could find himself signing to AEW in the near future.
After already appearing in numerous big AEW moments as an affiliate of the Death Riders, it could be that he becomes a full member soon.
Potentially emerging as a brand new leader for the Death Riders if Jon Moxley’s continues to free fall, there could be an interesting new storyline on the horizon.
With Kidd able to potentially align with only a select number of the Death Riders whereas the others would be left to be outcast, it could become a game of politics as to who sticks around for a new regime.
