More WWE Stars To Join El Grande Americano AAA Faction

At WWE AAA Noche de Los Grandes 2026, El Grande Americano defeated The Original El Grande Americano in a Mask vs Mask match.

Following this win, Americano wanted to focus his efforts on Dominik Mysterio’s AAA Mega Championship, but he was attacked by the new verison of Los Perros Del Mal on the June 20 edition of AAA on FOX.

This now puts El Grande’s back against the wall with this new five person unit being his newest opposition and hurdle to overcome before going for the AAA Mega Title.

Needing some backup sooner rather than later, here are six more WWE stars to potentially join El Grande Americano’s AAA faction along with Los Americanos.

6. Pimpinela Escarlata

During his lengthy rivalry with The Original El Grande Americano, El Grande Americano made a new friend and ally in Pimpinela Escarlata.

Following an attack from The Original El Grande, Pimpi gave El Grande his spot in a Rey de Reyes qualifying match, which led to him going on to win the Rey de Reyes sword.

After celebrating his victory in the Mask vs. Mask match, Pimpinela Escarlata could stand side-by-side with El Grande in a new war.

With Los Perros del Mal holding a distinct numbers advantage, it would make sense if Pimpi joins this unit to fight back by El Grande’s side once again.

5. Texano Jr.

Another new ally that El Grande Americano garnered in his feud with The Original El Grande Americano was Texano Jr.

The former AAA Mega Champion was someone who became a tag team partner to Americano and showed respect towards each other.

Following an attack by The Original El Grande, fans have not seen Texano back in Lucha Libre AAA.

Needing someone with veteran experience in his stable, El Grande could recruit Texano to be his number two in this potential AAA faction moving forward.

4. La Parka

Widely regarded as one of the most legendary names in Lucha Libre history, La Parka has gotten a new lease on his pro wrestling life in recent years.

With a new competitor behind the mask, Parka has once again become a popular figure on the Lucha Libre AAA roster.

Parka would be the first recruit for many stars in AAA and would be beneficial to anyone he aligns with.

Considering his ability and connection with the fans, Parka feels like a no-brainer for El Grande Americano to recruit in a potential faction.

3. Mr. Iguana

Another extremely popular star on the Lucha Libre AAA roster is Mr Iguana.

The green faced luchador has gotten a career resurgence over the past year, becoming a featured Mexican star regardless of whether its WWE or AAA.

If El Grande Americano wants to bring together some of the biggest stars in AAA, he would be hard-pressed to find anyone who is as beloved as Iguana outside of himself.

Bringing La Yesca and even Lola Vice, Iguana would be a home run pickup for this possible stable led by El Grande.

2. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.

El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jr has been one of the most prominent stars in Lucha Libre AAA since WWE acquired the promotion in 2025.

The second generation luchador has been a decorated star as a former AAA Latin American Champion and put on countless memorable matches in Mexico as well as the United States with WWE.

After losing the AAA Latin American Title to El Hijo del Vikingo at Noche de Los Grandes, Dr Wagner 3G needs to bounce back and find some momentum again.

Joining forces with El Grande Americano would be a great way to put him in an important role on Lucha Libre AAA programming as of late.

1. Chad Gable

Following his loss to El Grande Americano in the Mask vs. Mask match at AAA Noche de Los Grandes, Chad Gable has unmasked and tried to make amends for his disrespect to lucha libre.

The former Olympian has gone to WWE Raw and SmackDown to apologize to every luchador he could find.

Gable wants to make it up to every person he has done wrong to along his time as The Original El Grande Americano.

Wanting to fully redeem himself, Gable could return to AAA to join forces with El Grande in an effort to take down Los Perros del Mal.
