After Saturday Night’s Main Event featured several exciting crossover matches between WWE NXT and the main roster, more exhibition bouts could be coming.
From showdowns that have already been teased to one that may only be possible in this setting — there are some interesting options available.
Here are five more WWE NXT vs. main roster exhibition matches that could take place.
5. Oba Femi vs. Drew McIntyre
One crossover match that seems ready to happen straight away might be Oba Femi taking on Drew McIntyre.
After already tangling in the ring at Saturday Night’s Main Event when McIntyre interrupted Femi’s match against Cody Rhodes, there was definitely a fascinating moment.
With the pair of stars standing face-to-face, the Washington D.C. crowd seemed very excited to see what might happen next.
While Oba Femi could certainly find himself in a tag team against Drew McIntyre and a dastardly partner in the near future, there could be a major singles match as well.

4. Trick Williams Answers Ilja Dragunov’s United States Open Challenge
One match that could happen straight away would be to see Trick Williams pop-up on SmackDown.
Able to answer Ilja Dragunov’s open challenge for the United States Championship, Williams wouldn’t need to win to make a big impression on the main roster.
Bringing his charisma to the blue brand, there is of course also an ulterior motive for this particular suggestion.
With some fans still hoping to see the on-screen reunion between Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams, perhaps they could team up sooner rather than later.

3. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria vs. No Quarter Catch Crew (Kendal Gray & Wren Sinclair)
In a fun meeting of styles, it would be enjoyable to see NXT’s resident technical wrestling faction take on two of the best on the main roster.
With Bayley and Lyra Valkyria continuing their friendship, it seems that their tag team isn’t poised to end any time soon.
Continuing to gain opportunities on NXT, Kendal Gray recently picked up the victory in the Women’s Iron Survivor match to win a future title shot at Jacy Jayne.
With the NQCC building momentum, having a crossover with two main roster stars would be a lot of fun.

2. Myles Borne vs. Randy Orton
A seemingly natural pair to do battle in an exhibition match, it would be a lot of fun to see Randy Orton take on Myles Borne.
Able to showcase Borne’s compelling personal story after living with partial deafness since infancy, his impressive in-ring skills would be sure to impress as well.
With a remarkable resemblance to Randy Orton, a match that was essentially Randy Orton battling all his most famous moves could be really thrilling.
While Borne certainly has his own move set and strengths, the exhibition bout could be a memorable one in the end.

1. Joe Hendry vs. Cody Rhodes
In what could be a major battle between babyface stars, seeing Cody Rhodes have an exhibition match against Joe Hendry could be incredible.
With Rhodes’ bout against current NXT Champion Oba Femi interrupted at Saturday Night’s Main Event by Drew McIntyre, he may feel like he has some unwished business with the NXT roster.
With both considered fan favorites, the match could end up being more or less only possible through an exhibition.
Alternatively, Ricky Saints taking on Cody Rhodes in an exhibition bout before a later showdown on the main roster could make for a perfect way to introduce “Absolute” to the main roster.
