As was confirmed on the February 23 WWE Raw, AJ Styles will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026.

While AJ Styles had a remarkable run in WWE, he also made a substantial name for himself outside of the company, potentially opening up possibilities for others with successful careers elsewhere before or after WWE.

Here are seven more potential 2026 WWE Hall of Fame inductees that could be announced after AJ Styles.

7. Ken Shamrock

One inclusion into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class could be the “The World’s Most Dangerous Man”, Ken Shamrock.

Bringing true danger to WWE in a brand new way in the late 1990s, the real life MMA experience of Shamrock felt exciting and new at the time.

With the focus of a special edition of the WWE 2K26 release being the Attitude Era, now might be the perfect time for another Attitude Era inclusion to join Stephanie McMahon.

Other underrated Attitude Era stars that could certainly fit the bill include the entire faction The Nation of Domination (most notably Faarooq, The Rock, Mark Henry, D’Lo Brown and The Godfather) and potentially Al Snow.

6. The APA

While already inducted separately into the WWE Hall of Fame, the legendary duo of John Bradshaw Layfield and Ron Simmons are certainly deserving of a joint induction as The APA.

Winning WWE Tag Team gold three-times as a duo, their work together was not only solid in the ring, it was wildly entertaining outside of the ring.

A fixture of the Attitude Era, The APA (Acolytes Protection Agency) were one of the most entertaining duos of the time, always providing plenty of backstage hijinks originating from their ‘office’.

One glaring omission from the current WWE Hall of Fame is Fit Finlay, who had a storied career that spanned across the globe, including in WCW and WWE.

After making a major impact on the professional wrestling industry as a whole, Finlay is currently giving back to the next generation as well.

Serving as a producer, Finlay has been largely credited for not only his mentorship skills but for being a driving force behind the scenes for the women’s evolution.

With Stephanie McMahon already being announced to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame 2026, it could be the perfect time to acknowledge Finlay as well.

WWE legends Demolition

A pair of WWE legends that some fans thought may never become affiliated with the company again are Ax (Bill Eadie) and Smash (Barry Darsow).

After litigation brought by the pair against WWE in the past seemingly ruled them out of return, in 2025 there was an intriguing development.

Ahead of WrestleMania 41, it was confirmed that the formative tag team had signed legends deals with WWE, giving some fans hope that the duo could be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame soon.
