Heading into WWE WrestleMania 42, LA Knight seems to be on the outside looking in regards to plans for the premium live event.
“The Megastar” is someone who has been embroiled in a rivalry with The Vision over the past few months, but the group is limited on options to face at WWE WrestleMania 42.
With “The Show of Shows” only just four weeks away, Knight could potentially face off with any number of stars on the WWE roster in Las Vegas.
Here are six potential LA Knight WWE WrestleMania 42 opponents.
6. Carmelo Hayes – United States Championship
At the end of 2025, Carmelo Hayes defeated Ilja Dragunov to become the new WWE United States Championship.
Since then, Hayes has adopted the U.S. Title Open Challenge and accumulated eight straight successful title defenses.
Melo defending the United States Championship at WrestleMania 42 could be against anyone on Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown or NXT.
Considering he is a former U.S. Champion in his own right, Knight could step up to face Melo for the gold on “The Grandest Stage of Them All.”
5. Penta – Intercontinental Championship
Another current champion who does not have a confirmed opponent for the WrestleMania 42 premium live event is Penta.
On the March 2 edition of Monday Night Raw, Penta defeated Dominik Mysterio to win the Intercontinental Championship.
Since his title win, Penta has proven himself as a fighting champion with three successful defenses against Mysterio, El Grande Americano and Dragon Lee.
Penta defending the IC Title against someone like LA Knight could be a formidable challenge for his current reign at WrestleMania 42.
4. Logan Paul
Considering LA Knight’s current feud with The Vision, “The Megastar” could go one-on-one with one of the group’s members at WrestleMania 42.
Dating back to 2024, Knight has feuded with Logan Paul off-and-on, including his United States Championship win at SummerSlam that year.
Just last year, Paul picked up a win over Knight, which led to him and Bronson Reed taking out the former United States Champion for over a month.
After making his return at WWE Royal Rumble 2026, it would make sense for Knight to face Paul at WrestleMania 42 to culminate their rivalry with one another.

3. Teaming With The Usos vs. The Vision
During the course of his rivalry with The Vision, LA Knight has found some allies in fighting against Paul Heyman’s stable.
Among the stars who have fought side-by-side with Knight in recent months are the reigning World Tag Team Champions The Usos.
While he has had his differences most notably with Jey Uso, Knight teaming up with the champions to take down The Vision once and for all at WrestleMania 42 would be fitting.
If The Vision added another member to their faction, they could try to settle the score with their rivals in The Usos and Knight at “The Grandest Stage of Them All” in Las Vegas, Nevada.
2. GUNTHER
Another major star who does not have concrete plans for WrestleMania 42 at the time of this writing is GUNTHER.
Over the past year, “The Ring General” has earned himself a new nickname in “The Career Killer” by retiring Goldberg, John Cena and AJ Styles.
While he has been a prominent featured star on the WWE roster, GUNTHER seems to be on the outside looking in for WrestleMania 42.
Considering their status as two of the biggest stars in WWE today, it would be appropriate for the company to pit LA Knight against GUNTHER at “The Show of Shows.”
1. Seth Rollins
Another WWE star who currently does not have a scheduled match for the WrestleMania 42 card is Seth Rollins.
While LA Knight has been feuding with The Vision, the former leader of the group Seth Rollins now finds himself at odds with the stable he created.
With both men gunning to take down Paul Heyman’s faction, this could lead to Rollins getting in LA Knight’s way in his path for vengeance.
Knight rekindling his rivalry with Rollins in time for WrestleMania 42 would be a wonderful addition to the card that could determine who will be responsible for ending The Vision once and for all.
