On the February 16 edition of Raw, a member of WWE’s production staff presented GM Adam Pearce with a mystery crate that said “Deliver to WWE, Do Not Open Until 2/28/26.”
With the crate stating instructing Pearce not to open until the WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 premium live event, fans will be left to wonder what is inside the box over the next couple of weeks.
From returning stars to debuting talent, this mystery may have some ripple effects throughout the company moving forward following the next PLE.
Here are six potential identities of the mystery WWE crate at WWE Elimination Chamber 2026.
6. EVIL

Following NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20, news circulated that EVIL was set to explore his options outside of the promotion.
Then after a few weeks passed, New Japan confirmed that EVIL was leaving the company after a 15 year run.
The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion is someone who has been rumored to receive some interest from WWE and could make his way to the company in the near future.
Giving him a grand introduction, WWE could make EVIL the man inside the mystery crate to give him a proper fresh start in a new promotion at Elimination Chamber 2026.

5. Chris Jericho

Over the past year, Chris Jericho has been at the center of conversation about his next career move.
With his AEW contract reportedly set to expire, Jericho looks to be heading out of the company and has received some interest from WWE to make a return.
Throughout his various runs in WWE, Jericho has been known for his creativity in returning to the company in unique ways.
From the “Save Us Y2J” vignettes in 2007 to the mysterious child videos that led to his 2012 comeback, Jericho could be the one behind this mystery crate to kickstart his final chapter in WWE starting in Chicago at Elimination Chamber.

4. Danhausen

Back in 1990, a mysterious egg was revealed that would not hatch until the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view.
Then at the show, the egg hatched to reveal the Gobbledy Gooker character, which was a comedy act played by Hector Guerrero.
This mystery crate has similarities to this, so it would perhaps make sense for WWE to have the reveal be another comedy persona like AEW star Danhausen.
With his AEW contract set to also expire, fans could see Danhausen introduced to the WWE audience as the identity behind the mystery crate.

3. David Finlay

At NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka 2026, Callum Newman defeated David Finlay. After the match, Finlay had a tearful farewell where he bowed and said goodbye to the fans as well as Gedo and Hiromu Takahashi.
On February 16, a new report revealed that The Bullet Club War Dogs leader was officially a free agent with his NJPW contract expired.
Finlay is known as one of the most skilled and gifted in-ring performers in the world today and someone who could shine in the WWE landscape.
After finishing up his run in NJPW, Finlay could make a huge debut in a new home by debuting in the mystery crate at WWE Elimination Chamber 2026.

2. Bad Bunny

Bad Bunny has become an even bigger musical artist over the past few months than he was before.
After winning the Grammy Award for Best Album and performing in the Super Bowl XL Halftime Show, the world has been talking about Bunny in a major way.
While his popularity has soared to new heights, a report circulated that the Grammy Award winner was set to make a return to WWE sooner rather than later.
Bad Bunny being the identity of the mystery crate would be an interesting way to bring one of the biggest music artists back into the fold and set the course at WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 for the star to play a pivotal role at WrestleMania 42.

1. The Rock

Over the past two years, The Rock has been a centerpiece to the builds of both WrestleMania 40 and 41.
Whether it be his “Final Boss” character in 2024 or playing a crucial role in the John Cena heel turn in 2025, The Rock has helped to elevate things and bring more eyes to the WWE product on the road to WrestleMania.
With reports of WWE not being pleased with the ticket sales for WrestleMania 42, it makes a ton of sense if The Rock came back for the build to the biggest show of the year.
The Rock being behind the mystery crate could set things in motion for the legendary star to once again become an important figure on the road to WrestleMania 42 like he’s done the two years previously.
