While there are some top names with pasts in WWE that have made recent debuts in AEW, there may be more yet to come.
From long-standing veterans of the industry to others who made their name over a shorter period of time, there are numerous former WWE Tag Team Champions that may find themselves in AEW in the near future.
Here are five former WWE Tag Team Champions that could be on the verge of signing with AEW.
5. Kacy Catanzaro

One potential former WWE Tag Team Champion that could arrive in AEW is the former Kacy Catanzaro, formerly known as Katana Chance.
With her former tag team partner Lacey Lane (Kayden Carter) already signed to AEW, it could be that there is a new signing coming soon.
While the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion has returned to her roots in American Ninja Warrior competition, it doesn’t mean she’s ruled out a return to professional wrestling.
Potentially being able to join Lane in AEW and have immediate success, there could be some very memorable moments ahead in AEW for the former WWE star.

If Styles were to join the likes of Edge (Adam Copeland) and Bryan Danielson in finding seemingly more creative control as they wind down their careers, there could be some very interesting stories ahead.
