On the February 16 edition of WWE Raw, a production hand revealed a mystery crate to General Manager Adam Pearce to not be opened until WWE Elimination Chamber 2026.
This crate then made an appearance on the February 20 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, which brought even more questions regarding the content inside of it.
With many fans speculating that an individual is inside of the box, there could potentially be a returning talent making their way back to WWE inside this mystery crate.
Here are six former WWE stars to potentially return in the mystery crate.
6. Chris Jericho
Over the past year, no other wrestler has been seen in the headlines more regarding their pro wrestling future than Chris Jericho.
With speculation running rampant, it seems like Jericho’s AEW contract will expire in the near future and could lead to a potential return to WWE.
Considering all the talk surrounding where he will end up next, Jericho became the most popular answer as to what was inside the mystery crate on Monday Night Raw.
Having made several memorable returns throughout his career, Jericho could be the man inside the box and make his way back to WWE in Chicago, the same city he first debuted, at Elimination Chamber 2026.

5. Dakota Kai
Back in May 2025, Dakota Kai had to be one of the most shocking names included in her slate of WWE releases.
Spending nearly 10 years with the promotion, Kai was recognized as one of the most underrated female stars on the WWE roster.
Since her exit from the company, fans have not seen Kai appear anywhere throughout the wrestling world.
With only one booking set in March for Pro Wrestling: EVE, fans may be surprised to see Dakota Kai emerge from the mystery crate and be in position with a more prominent spot in the company after making a comeback at WWE Elimination Chamber 2026.

4. Mandy Rose
Another shocking WWE release was back in December 2022 when Mandy Rose lost the NXT Women’s Championship and was subsequently let go from the company.
Over the past three years, Rose has only made a handful of appearances in a wrestling ring and hasn’t signed with another promotion.
After making a name for himself as an influencer, it might be the right time for Rose to make a return to WWE.
Wanting to give her a grand return, Rose could be the individual inside of the mystery crate and find herself in a higher spot on the card upon her WWE return on February 28 in Chicago.

3. Paige
In March 2025, Saraya announced her departure from All Elite Wrestling after a three-year run with the company.
In the months since then, Saraya has made it clear that she is open to making a return to WWE to become Paige once again.
Recently, fans have seen videos of Paige training inside the squared circle and she revealed that she will be in Las Vegas during WrestleMania week.
With a well established legacy in WWE and pro wrestling, Paige would be quite the shocking revelation if she so happens to emerge from the mystery crate at the Elimination Chamber 2026 premium live event.

2. Braun Strowman
Another WWE release from the slate of talent cuts in May 2025 was Braun Strowman.
The former WWE Universal Champion is another name who has not shown up in another major promotion since his exit from the company.
Having close ties to WWE with his reality show airing on the USA Network, many fans believe they will see Strowman back in the promotion one day.
While the mystery crate does not seem big enough for “The Monster Among Men,” Strowman would be another star who could use the momentum and attention from this story to find himself back in the main event picture after WWE Elimination Chamber.

1. Bad Bunny
In the past few weeks, there has been a lot of discussion and speculation regarding Grammy Award winner Bad Bunny making his return to WWE.
While he has a busy schedule, there is no denying Bunny has a love and passion for pro wrestling and could find success in a WWE ring like he has in the past.
Considering news about a potential match at WrestleMania 42, WWE could reveal the rapper’s return to the company through this mystery crate angle.
Bad Bunny emerging from the mystery crate would garner plenty of mainstream attention at WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 and potentially be the biggest return possible, one that gives them much needed momentum on the road to WrestleMania 42.
