Every Winner At WWE WrestleMania 42

There are four weeks before WWE returns to Las Vegas, Nevada for this year’s WrestleMania 42 two-night event.

The company has already announced five matches for the show with several more taking shape on Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown as of late.

While it is difficult to predict exactly what will go down, it is becoming clearer who the favorites to win and walk away from Mania victorious on April 18 and 19 could be.

Here are our predictions for every winner at WWE WrestleMania 42.

Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Randy Orton

At WWE Elimination Chamber 2026, Randy Orton defeated Cody Rhodes, Logan Paul, Trick Williams, LA Knight and Je’Von Evans to win the men’s Elimination Chamber match and earn the opportunity to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42.

While it looked like Orton would face Drew McIntyre at the event, that soon changed when Cody Rhodes regained the WWE Title after defeating ‘The Scottish Warrior’ on the March 6 episode of SmackDown.

This looked to be a battle of two friends colliding, but Orton changed that as well when he brutally bloodied Rhodes during their contract signing on the March 13 SmackDown.

Now that things are personal between the former friends, it feels like all the momentum is in Orton’s favor to walk out of WrestleMania 42 as a 15-time world champion.

Winner: Randy Orton

Women’s World Championship: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Liv Morgan

At WWE Royal Rumble 2026, Liv Morgan won the women’s Royal Rumble match and punched her ticket for WrestleMania 42.

After contemplating for several weeks, some cutting words from WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer led Morgan to choose her for the match at Mania.

Over the past few weeks, both women have traded barbs with one another, trying to get in the other’s head about their different journeys to get to ‘The Show of Shows.’

When the dust settles at ‘The Showcase of the Immortals,’ it feels like Liv Morgan should become the new WWE Women’s World Champion, bringing some gold back to The Judgment Day.

Winner: Liv Morgan

Dominik Mysterio vs. Finn Balor – Street Fight

Speaking of The Judgment Day, things have completely changed within the group following the past few weeks on Monday Night Raw.

On the March 9 edition of WWE Raw, The Judgment Day turned their backs on Finn Balor after he was responsible for costing Dominik Mysterio the Intercontinental Championship against Penta the week prior.

This should set the stage for Balor to go one-on-one with Mysterio at WrestleMania 42 and the bout should get a stipulation like a Street Fight for both men to settle the score that has been building for the past few years.

Whether it is as himself or the return of his ‘Demon’ persona, Balor should walk out of this Street Fight with a victory to put The Judgment Day behind him once and for all.

Winner: Finn Balor

The Original El Grande Americano vs. El Grande Americano – Mask vs. Mask Match

In early 2025, fans were introduced to the newest “luchador” in WWE with El Grande Americano. Interestingly enough, there was a significant change in the look of the masked man when Chad Gable went down with an injury in the summer of 2025.

A new version of El Grande would make his presence known in Mexico for Lucha Libre AAA where he became one of the most popular stars in the country.

Then at WWE Royal Rumble 2026, The Original El Grande Americano made his return and confronted El Grande Americano. Since then, the two men have been at each other’s throats in an intense rivalry.

After the intensity has reached a fever pitch in Mexico and their first singles meeting, this could all lead to a Mask vs. Mask Match at WrestleMania 42, but it should be the other El Grande who scores the win over The Original version to unmask him as potentially Chad Gable.

Winner: El Grande Americano

WWE Women’s United States Championship: Giulia (c) vs. Tiffany Stratton

Over the past few weeks, fans have seen a rivalry brewing between Giulia and Tiffany Stratton over the WWE Women’s United States Championship.

While Stratton has had her sights on regaining the WWE Women’s Championship since her return at Royal Rumble 2026, it seems like she has changed course after losing in the women’s Elimination Chamber match.

Meanwhile, ‘The Beautiful Madness’ has been looking to prove herself as a formidable champion in this second reign with the gold.

Despite Giulia having Kiana James in her corner, it feels like Stratton might be too much for the champ to handle at WrestleMania 42 and could see her walk out of Las Vegas as only the sixth WWE Women’s United States Champion.

Winner: Tiffany Stratton

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Submission Match: AJ Lee (c) vs. Becky Lynch

Since making her return to WWE in September 2025, AJ Lee has made Becky Lynch’s life a living hell.

After making her submit at WWE Wrestlepalooza 2025 and Survivor Series 2025, Lee did it for a third straight time when she defeated ‘The Man’ to become the new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion at Elimination Chamber 2026.

Lynch would get a measure of revenge on Lee with an attack after the legend’s first title defense against Bayley on the March 16 episode of WWE Raw.

This should lead to a rematch with Lee and Lynch for the gold at WrestleMania 42 that could get an additional stipulation in a Submission Match, but Becky feels more motivated than ever to finally defeat AJ and become the first three-time WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion.

Winner: Becky Lynch

WWE World Tag Team Championship: The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) (c) vs. The Vision (Logan Paul & Austin Theory)

Over the past year, The Usos have found themselves embroiled in a feud with the members of The Vision on WWE Raw.

Whether it be in singles action or multi-man matches, Jimmy and Jey Uso have reunited to counteract The Vision in different bouts.

With Paul Heyman wanting his group to gain some kind of power, The Vision are looking to get some gold and their first target is the World Tag Team Championship.

Considering Jimmy and Jey will face Logan Paul and Austin Theory on the March 23 edition of Monday Night Raw, The Vision will look to earn their shot at WrestleMania 42, but The Usos might avenge that loss when the time comes in Las Vegas.

Winner: The Usos

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax & Lash Legend) (c) vs. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs. Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria vs. The Bella Twins (Nikki & Brie Bella)

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship scene has become the most competitive of any division in the company today.

On the February 27 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, The Irresistible Forces defeated RHIYO to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title.

Since capturing the gold, Nia Jax and Lash Legend have had challengers coming out of the woodwork left and right to stake their claim to a shot, such as Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, The Kabuki Warriors, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and The Bella Twins.

While they will defend the titles against The Bellas on the March 20 edition of SmackDown, The Irresistible Forces might have to deal with more than one pair of challengers come WrestleMania 42. However, Nikki and Brie Bella feel destined to finally capture the tag gold at least once.

Winner: The Bella Twins

Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu – Last Man Standing Match

On the March 6 edition of SmackDown, Cody Rhodes defeated Drew McIntyre to regain the Undisputed WWE Championship.

This win came after Jacob Fatu appeared to stop McIntyre from using a steel chair to cheat during the contest.

This led to a confrontation that saw McIntyre seemingly quit WWE only to show up later in the show to cost Fatu a match, and SmackDown GM Nick Aldis announcing a match between the two men for the March 20 episode.

While they are set for this showdown, it feels like nothing will be settled until WrestleMania 42 where the two competitors could face off in a Last Man Standing match, but Fatu feels like he has more than enough ammunition to finally take down McIntyre once and for all in Las Vegas.

Winner: Jacob Fatu

Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi

On the February 23 episode of WWE Raw, Brock Lesnar issued an open challenge to anyone on the roster to face him at WrestleMania 42.

Then on the March 16 edition of Raw, it was Oba Femi who stepped up to the plate to accept the challenge with an emphatic Fall From Grace on Lesnar and placing his foot on Brock’s chest.

Now that the stage is set for this battle of behemoths, fans are wondering what the result could be when ‘The Beast Incarnate’ collides with ‘The Ruler’ in Las Vegas.

While Brock has the experience in big matches, it feels like Femi’s time to shine and pick up the biggest victory of his entire career at WrestleMania 42.

Winner: Oba Femi

WWE Women’s Championship: Jade Cargill (c) vs. Rhea Ripley

At WWE Elimination Chamber 2026, Rhea Ripley defeated Tiffany Stratton, Raquel Rodriguez, Kiana James, Asuka and Alexa Bliss to win the women’s Elimination Chamber and earn a shot at the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42.

Since this win, Ripley has shown no fear at challenging the seemingly unstoppable Jade Cargill for the title at ‘The Show of Shows.’

This will be a battle of two of the biggest and strongest competitors in the WWE women’s division today.

Cargill has only suffered one loss in singles competition since signing with WWE in 2023, but it feels like the right time for Ripley to get to the mountaintop and walk out of WrestleMania 42 as the new WWE Women’s Champion.

Winner: Rhea Ripley

World Heavyweight Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. Roman Reigns

There is no rivalry that has become as personal, heated and bitter as the one between CM Punk and Roman Reigns heading into WrestleMania 42 this year.

After Reigns got the win in the men’s Royal Rumble match, Punk convinced him to choose him for ‘The Show of Shows’ after exposing Roman’s hatred for him over everything that has happened between the two over the past 14 years.

With their established history, things have gotten even more intense between the two after Punk brought up Reigns’ late father in a promo.

While Punk has made for a fighting champion since capturing the gold back in November 2025, Roman Reigns has not been in the title picture for two years and looks poised to walk out of WrestleMania 42 with the World Heavyweight Championship.

Winner: Roman Reigns
