With Danhausen making his mark already across WWE Raw and SmackDown, perhaps the “Very Nice, Very Evil” he could be headed for tag team action soon.
From pairings that would be joyful, to others that could strike a chord of nostalgic magic reminiscent of odd couple pairings of the past — there are a lot of amazing stories that Danhausen could tell in tag team action.
Here are six potential WWE tag team partners for Danhausen.
6. Johnny Gargano
With Johnny Gargano continuing to be listless and despondent since the departure of his longtime tag team partner Tommaso Ciampa, he revealed on SmackDown that he does still have some fight left in him.
After being encouraged to get back into the game by Alex Shelley and Candice LeRae, Gargano was fired up and went to the ring to fight anyone — except unfortunately it was Oba Femi who answered the call.
After being put back down by Femi, it could be that Gargano turns to Danhausen as a last resort to bring back his fighting spirt.
Creating a tag team that is both amusing but also highly capable in the ring, the pairing could be complete magic.

5. Dominik Mysterio
In what was a very fun introduction for Danhausen on WWE Raw, a backstage interaction with both GM Adam Pearce and Judgment Day.
When Dominik Mysterio was dismissive of Danhausen however, he would go on to face the wrath as Danhausen cursed him just ahead of his IC title defense against PENTA.
In the end, Mysterio would lose the bout and potentially could be looking for any way for the curse to be broken.
In what could prove to be a fun storyline, Danhausen could reveal that the only way for the curse to be broken is to be in a tag team with him — setting up endless fun between him and the Judgment Day.

4. Matt Cardona
One charismatic character that hasn’t interacted with Danhausen on-screen in WWE yet is Matt Cardona.
Easily able to make hilarious backstage segments together, Cardona and Danhausen would be particularly amusing in the wild through staged vignettes of the duo interacting around and about town.
With each bringing their own comedic timing, the tag team could be a lot of fun across WWE social media — while eventually bringing their skills into the ring.
Having Cardona stand in as a positive veteran force and even engaging in a feud with The Miz surrounding his poor treatment of Danhausen thus far, these two could be the perfect pair.

3. Kofi Kingston
With Xavier Woods out of action due to injury, there could be a vacancy in The New Day that Danhausen could fit into.
Or at least, Danhausen could believe he is the perfect new tag partner for the WWE legend Kofi Kingston and insist on tagging with him.
Setting up sure to be hilarious interactions with both Kingston and their recent running buddy Grayson Waller, the storyline could be the perfect placeholder for a season.
New Danhausen is right there — there could be a very funny and very silly partnership that leads to the inevitable betrayal of the “Very Nice, Very Evil” star when Xavier Woods is actually back in action.

2. Ricky Saints
A future partner for Danhausen could definitely be fellow AEW alum, Ricky Saints.
With history between the two characters on AEW TV and elsewhere, their pairing could also be a throwback to another odd couple pairing from WWE’s Attitude Era.
In what could be the perfect modern retelling of The Rock & Sock Connection — between beloved outcast Mankind and the charismatic heel, The Rock — Saints & Danhausen would be sure to entertain.
With the perpetually irritated Saints having to put up with the over the top antics of Danhausen but ultimately being impressed by his ability to facilitate wins in the ring — their dynamic could be a viral moment machine until their eventual break-up.

1. Chris Jericho
Although it ended up being Danhausen that emerged from the mysterious box in Chicago at Elimination Chamber 2026, some fans were holding out hope the reveal might be the return of Chris Jericho.
While it remains unclear as to what the future might hold for Chris Jericho, there is a history between Jericho and Danhausen.
Appearing as Jerichohausen in a memorable pairing on the Jericho Cruise, the duo even have action figures to commemorate their short partnership.
Able to lean into the Sports Entertainment fun, Jericho would be a great partner for Danhausen at some point albeit perhaps not straight away.
