Legendary WWE tag team The Hardy Boyz are currently one of TNA Wrestling’s biggest acts – massively over with the promotion’s fanbase, they remain genuine top stars.
They’re not the only former WWE names thriving in TNA either: current Knockouts Champion Ash by Elegance (Dana Brooke), Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler), and Mustafa Ali have all joined the roster since leaving WWE, among several others.
The question now is: who will be next to sign with TNA?
Here are five WWE wrestlers who could be future TNA stars.
6. Austin Theory

Austin Theory has recently been absent from WWE television due to an undisclosed injury.
When he was first brought into the company, Theory was hailed as a future top star – even scoring a win over John Cena at WrestleMania 39 – yet the last two years have seen him stuck in a middling tag team with Grayson Waller, leaving his career stalled.
Since his disappearance from TV, Waller has kicked off a recent alignment with The New Day, leading to question marks over Theory’s future.
It feels like Theory could benefit from a career refresh, and that could come in the form of a move to TNA, with the promotion’s WWE partnership leaving the door open for a return.

5. Ridge Holland

Ridge Holland was once a featured star on WWE programming as part of Sheamus’ Brawling Brutes faction.
However, by the end of 2023 he had returned to NXT, where he has since largely disappeared from television, more recently confined to appearances on WWE Evolve.
While the 37-year-old seems to fallen out of favor with the powers that be in WWE, he remains an impressive powerhouse worker – one capable of delivering solid matches and a strong potential addition to the TNA roster.
He could be another name who rejuvenates his career and finds a path back to WWE.

4. Tyler Bate

There is a strong argument to be made that Tyler Bate is the most underutilized wrestler on WWE’s roster.
The uber-talented British star has not wrestled since the end of May – a tag team bout alongside partner Pete Dunne against Grayson Waller and Austin Theory on Main Event.
According to Bate himself, who posted on social media in July, he is not injured but simply “waiting” for his return.
Still only 28, Bate remains a performer with huge unrealized potential – if he ends up leaving WWE, he could be a major asset for TNA.

3. Apollo Crews

Apollo Crews is training to return to action after recovering from a torn pec suffered in a match with Johnny Gargano on Smackdown in January.
However, how much longer the 38-year-old remains with the company is very much in question.
A highly accomplished performer in Japan and on the US indies, Crews has had a mixed WWE career since signing in 2016 – showing flashes of his potential in NXT and capturing both the United States and Intercontinental Titles, yet spending a lot of time recently on Main Event or in untelevised dark matches.
Crews remains a standout in-ring worker, a high-flyer with genuine upside, and if he departs WWE he would be a valuable addition to TNA’s X-Division – with his inclusion setting up mouth-watering clashes against the likes of current champion Leon Slater.

2. Lexis King

NXT’s Lexis King was last seen on programming at the end of August in a blindfold match against Myles Borne.
The son of Brian Pillman, King arrived in NXT from AEW with notable fanfare, but after a name change and an initial push, WWE hasn’t done much with the 32-year-old.
At this stage, it remains to be seen whether he will make it to the main roster.
If not, TNA could be a natural landing spot – restoring his family name as Brian Pillman Jr, he could slot effectively into the promotion’s roster.

1. The Miz

The Miz is one of WWE’s longest-serving stars, with a career in the company now spanning 21 years.
While he remains one of its most recognizable performers, questions have recently been asked about how much longer his run will last.
Earlier this year, speculation flared about Miz’s WWE future, although it ultimately came to nothing, as he returned to SmackDown, where his tag team with Carmelo Hayes now appears on the brink of collapse.
Still, as with fellow long-tenured star Dolph Ziggler, Miz’s WWE run will inevitably come to an end sooner or later, and possibly in the near future – and when that happens, TNA appears a natural landing spot for the veteran.
