WWE Money in the Bank 2026 is now just two weeks away, and as the event draws closer we get more and more of an idea of what to expect from the show.

The majority of the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder match fields are in place and early favorites are emerging. While we also know that Roman Reigns will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against LA Knight in the main event.

While all this is in place, there is still plenty of room for more additions and late changes to be made to the announced card.

Here are three alterations we could see made to Money in the Bank 2026:

Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan vs. Becky Lynch added to the card

Liv Morgan saw her 147 day Women’s World Title run come to an abrupt end when Stephanie Vaquer pinned her during an untelevized live event match in Santiago, Chile on September 12.

‘La Primera’s’ big win was an emotional one, but came about due to a massive assist from the match’s special guest referee Becky Lynch – who denied Liv Morgan a three count off an Oblivion after she got in the face of ‘The Man.’

Given Lynch’s actions Morgan is obviously pissed and demanding a rematch, while ‘Big Time Becks’ also feels justified in asking Vaquer for a title shot given the role she played in her becoming champion.

Nothing has been announced yet but there seems like only one way to settle this score between all three competitors: a three-way for the Women’s World Title at Money in the Bank.

Liv Morgan demands Roxanne Perez’s Money in the Bank spot after failing to win back Women’s World Title

If Morgan does get herself a Women’s World Title rematch at Money in the Bank and loses once again, we could see a different, more desperate and unhinged version of The Judgment Day star emerge in the aftermath, something that could spell bad news for her Judgment Day stablemate Roxanne Perez.

Perez is confirmed for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, and is one of, if not the favorite to win the match in the eyes of many given that her doing so could lead to some serious dissension within The Judgment Day.

But what if this dissension were to begin at Money in the Bank, but not Perez wins the briefcase, but Liv Morgan – in a fit of anger following another loss to Vaquer – demands that Perez give up her spot in Money in the Bank to her.

Whether she relents or refuses, the moment would be an alternative route to splitting ‘The Prodigy’ from The Judgment Day.

Drew McIntyre returns to steal someone’s Money in the Bank spot

With Drew McIntyre recently sharing footage of himself running the ropes, he could finally be nearing a return after a five month hiatus from WWE.

The Scotsman has been away building his Hollywood resumé since his last match at WrestleMania 42, but fans are more than ready to see him back, and hopefully involved in a high profile angle.

One way WWE could bring Drew back is by having him take the spot of one of the competitors who qualified for Money in the Bank. Whether it was Drew himself that attacked them, or simply him being in the right place at the right time, Drew could return as a surprise addition to the ladder match.

With his failed cash-in in 2024 still fresh in the memory, perhaps McIntyre can right that wrong in New Orleans.
