Over the past year, AEW has seen several stars leave the company and sign with WWE NXT.
Whether it be Ethan Page, Ricky Saints or Blake Monroe, these talents have helped to significantly bolster the roster.
Looking at the current AEW roster, there are various stars who could make their way to the NXT brand in the weeks and months to come.
Here are seven current and former AEW stars to potentially sign with WWE NXT.
7. The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch)
In May, The Righteous requested their release from All Elite Wrestling, which was later granted and led to them becoming free agents.
After a two-year run with the company, Vincent and Dutch have gained enough exposure that should make them sought after by different promotions.
The former ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions have unique and eccentric characters that could stand out from the pack anywhere they go.
The Righteous eventually signing with WWE NXT would help to put a focus back on the tag team division that hasn’t quite been the same since the recent departure of Fraxiom earlier this year.

6. Leyla Hirsch
Another AEW star who departed the company this year is Leyla Hirsch.
Despite her small stature, Hirsch has displayed impressive strength and technical ability throughout a five year stint with All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor.
Now that she is a free agent, there have been recent reports about Leyla potentially getting a WWE tryout as a referee.
With the company currently rebuilding the NXT women’s division, Hirsch would be a wonderful addition who could add something different to their roster right now.

5. Danhausen
When Danhausen signed with All Elite Wrestling, he was viewed as someone who could become one of the most popular stars in the company.
The “Very Nice, Very Evil” star should have accomplished much more than he was able to, but he looks to be finishing up with the promotion later this year.
Danhausen making the move to WWE could see him become a merchandise mover and an entertaining act to feature weekly.
Over on WWE NXT, Danhausen should fit in very nicely with the other quirky characters and acts on the brand.

4. Kamille
There have been several different stars who have signed with All Elite Wrestling over the past year that could have been utilized much better than they have.
Among those talents, Kamille has to be one who stands out the most considering how much she was able to accomplish during her time in the National Wrestling Alliance.
The former NWA World Women’s Champion could have been one of the most dominant female stars in AEW history, but she instead came in as the muscle for Mercedes Moné before being written off of television in November 2024.
Kamille leaving AEW to sign with WWE NXT could make her a force unlike anyone has seen in their women’s division over the past few years.

3. Wardlow
Ever since Wardlow made his AEW debut in 2019, many fans believed he had the look and size to be a perfect WWE star.
After an initial major push that saw him in a top feud against MJF in 2022, Wardlow was able to become a three-time TNT Champion, but he never reached the heights so many fans wanted him to.
After over a year away from AEW TV, Wardlow is currently away to be part of the cast for the American Gladiators reboot series.
Wardlow leaving AEW and signing with WWE NXT could see him add some much needed depth to the men’s division.

2. Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen)
Private Party are AEW originals that finally reached the mountaintop just last year.
Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen were able to defeat The Young Bucks to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships in October 2024.
After losing the title to The Hurt Syndicate in January of this year, the duo have not been seen on AEW television since then.
Following recent reports that their AEW contracts are up in the near future, Private Party feel like they are destined to make their way to WWE NXT where they could become the top tag team on the brand.

1. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.
Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. has found herself in the headlines quite a bit over the past year.
After a lengthy absence from AEW TV since November 2024, Baker has been looked at as someone who might not be in Tony Khan’s promotion for much longer.
With a six years under her belt in All Elite Wrestling, Baker has made a name for herself as one of the first homegrown stars on the roster and could go on to make the move to WWE.
Over on WWE NXT, Britt could become a top star on NXT and the WWE main roster, so expect speculation to continue as her AEW absence continues.
