With Mercedes Mone continuing her quest to capture the AEW Women’s World Championship, she may need some back-up.
While there have long been rumors that Mone was set to lead her own AEW faction, a stable has never been revealed on TV – but that doesn’t mean it isn’t still coming.
Here are six stars that could possibly join a new Mercedes Mone faction.
6. Harley Cameron

They may have started as foes but after having one of the most entertaining feuds in recent memory, Harley Cameron could add a lot of likability to a Mercedes Mone faction.
Although Cameron is currently taking some time away from AEW, when she returns it would make sense to see her partnered up with Mercedes Mone – even to the chagrin of the CEO.
Even if she required a long time to get the official nod from Mone, it would be a highly entertaining storyline throughout.
It would also be a guaranteed great reaction from the crowd if Mone eventually fully accepted Cameron as her ally.

5. Nyla Rose

One solid choice for an emerging Mercedes Mone faction might very well be an AEW original – Nyla Rose.
Last seen in action in AEW in December 2024, Nyla Rose competed on the recent Jericho Cruise so is seemingly eligible for in-ring action.
By all indications Rose remains signed to AEW after having been initially contracted with the promotion back at the very beginning.
Given her fun personality that was showcased on TV during her feud with Jade Cargill for the TBS Championship – and is always on display on social media – Rose could be not only an enforcer for the squad but provide comic relief as well.

4. Athena

With the dominant ROH Champion already having a run-in with Mercedes Mone in the Owen Hart Foundation tournament semi-finals, it would seem likely the competitive bout would have earned Mone’s respect.
Bringing together their storylines of dominance would certainly create a massive threat to the entire AEW women’s division and serve as a re-introduction for Athena.
Creating a very frightening duo, the two could lean into their heel antics to make their presence known at all times in the women’s division.
While a faction of younger stars that Mone can bolster is one route, pairing her with another top star could end up being magic in the long run.

3. The Renegade Twins (Robyn & Charlette Renegade)

It has been long rumored that there is a faction in Mercedes Mone’s future and it was set to also feature The Renegade Twins.
While the group has yet to emerge, there continues to be speculation that it will be happening.
Although Charlette Renegade hasn’t seen in-ring action since November 2024, Robyn has been featured more recently in AEW.
Having lost a singles match against Mone in late March 2025, perhaps the CEO will recruit from her list of most recently conquered opponents.

2. Anna Jay & Tay Melo

There is another AEW duo that could be a great fit alongside Mercedes Mone – Anna Jay and Tay Melo.
With Melo having recently returned, the duo have already been back in action together, most recently feuding with Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford.
While they’ve been known in the past for their brutal and bloody matches, pairing the team with Mercedes Mone could launch them to a new level.
Positioned as babyfaces in their recent feuds, TayJay really shine when they’re unleashed as heels.

1. Mina Shirakawa

Despite the fact that Mercedes Mone is set to face off against Mina Shirakawa on AEW Dynamite 300 – it could make sense for them to be revealed as allies.
With history of going one-on-one in the past, the match is sure to be a great one.
Although Shirakawa seems to be firmly supportive of Timeless Toni Storm now, it is fully possible that yet another betrayal is in Storm’s future.
Joining forces with Mercedes, Mina could go forward to run the AEW women’s division before finding her way back to Toni.
