At WWE Elimination Chamber 2026, Raw and SmackDown General Managers Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis opened up the mystery crate that has been backstage on both shows over the past few weeks.
Once the box was opened, it was revealed that former AEW star Danhausen was inside the crate and came along with some dancers as well as new theme music.
Now that he is in WWE, All Elite Wrestling will be looking for a replacement to fill the void left by Danhausen despite being absent from the company for the past two years.
Here are seven potential AEW replacements for Danhausen.
7. Max Caster
There are not many AEW stars who have drawn laughter from the fans quite like Max Caster.
Whether it be as part of The Acclaimed or in his “Best Wrestler Alive” open challenge, Caster has been a comedy figure on the AEW roster.
While he has not always been consistently featured on AEW TV, Caster is someone who can always be called upon to add some levity to the program.
Caster replacing Danhausen can be the key comedy figure in All Elite Wrestling and potentially become a merchandise mover with the right presentation.

6. Dark Order (Evil Uno, John Silver & Alex Reynolds)
One of the first acts created in All Elite Wrestling back in 2019 was Dark Order.
Making their AEW debut at the All Out 2019 pay-per-view, Evil, John Silver and Alex Reynolds have been mainstays in the company over the past six years plus.
While they were once a regular part of AEW Dynamite and Collision, Dark Order is mostly seen on Ring of Honor television in the past couple of years.
Considering their established characters, Dark Order can be viewed as Danhausen replacements moving forward.

One of the funniest characters on AEW and Ring of Honor television are the group known as MxM TV.
The combination of Mansoor, Mason Madden, Johnny TV and Taya Valkyrie have undeniable charisma and chemistry with one another.
Between the in-ring exploits, the promo work and overall characters, MxM TV always brings a lot to the table as fodder for babyfaces who need to win or if there needs to be a comedy segment on the show.
MxM TV replacing Danhausen would be interesting and allow them to become the number one comedy act in All Elite Wrestling.
