On the January 12 edition of WWE Raw, General Manager Adam Pearce got into a tense confrontation with The Vision.

After Bron Breakker interfered in The Vision’s tag team match against Penta and Dragon Lee, he was confronted by Pearce who put his hands on him, which led to Breakker physically pushing the Raw GM in the corner and threatening him.

This led to Breakker being suspended and Heyman bringing up the fact that Pearce placed his hands on his client first. Coming off the heels of this angle, fans could potentially see Pearce lose his job as General Manager before too long.

With this possibility in mind, here are seven potential Adam Pearce WWE Raw General Manager replacements.

7. Nick Aldis

Nick Aldis, WWE SmackDown General Manager

Before 2023, Adam Pearce was the sole authority figure in WWE, working to keep order on both Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown.

However, Nick Aldis was brought in to become the SmackDown General Manager in October of that year to fill that role, while Pearce remained as GM of Raw.

Since then, Aldis has established himself as a reliable authority figure who handles situations on the blue brand with poise and credibility.

If Pearce is removed from his role on WWE Raw, it would make a ton of sense if Aldis simply fills in for him.

6. Ava

WWE NXT GM Ava

While Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis have been the authority figures on Raw and SmackDown, Ava was chosen for the General Manager role on WWE NXT.

Despite being the youngest authority figure in history, Ava has handled things well and has been able to keep control on NXT through everything that she has had to face.

The daughter of The Rock has showcased herself to be a dependable source of authority that could translate well to the WWE main roster.

With everything she has been able to do over the past three years, Ava has proven herself as someone WWE should call upon to replace Adam Pearce when the time is right.

5. Paul Heyman

While he is known as one of the greatest managers of all time, Paul Heyman has played other roles in WWE.

Back in 2003, Heyman was named the SmackDown General Manager, while he has also played several different authority figure roles for ECW from the 1990s to the revival in WWE in 2006.

Heyman is currently the leader of The Vision, managing Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul and Austin Theory.

Trying to help their careers, Heyman could replace Adam Pearce as the Raw General Manager taking control over Monday nights moving forward.

Back in 2012, AJ Lee was named the Raw General Manager and served in the role for a short period of time.

This position was one of the reasons why Lee became such an important figure during this time and helped continue her ascent up the ladder.

More recently, Lee made her return to WWE in September 2025 to team with her husband CM Punk, with the pair defeating Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins at Wrestlepalooza. She then picked up a win in the Women’s WarGames at WWE Survivor Series 2025.

Lee returning to replace Adam Pearce could see her once again become Raw GM and play a crucial role on WWE programming in the new year.

Another former WWE star who has been an authority figure in the past is Paige.

Back in March 2025, Paige, real name Saraya, announced her departure from All Elite Wrestling after a three-year run in the promotion.

Making it no secret that she is open to making a return to WWE, Paige could come back to the company and resume an authority figure role.

Much like she did previously on SmackDown in 2018, Paige returning to WWE as Raw GM could bring more attention to the women’s division on Monday nights by placing an iconic female star in a prominent position.

Upon his departure from AEW, fans expect Jericho to make a comeback to WWE where he hasn’t appeared in the past eight years.

Jericho could return to WWE as the replacement for Adam Pearce, taking control of Monday Night Raw and bringing a ton of star power to this role on the company’s programming.

1. John Cena

On the December 13 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, John Cena had his retirement match against GUNTHER where he submitted for the first time in 20 years.

“The Never Seen 17” has had one of the greatest careers of any WWE star and leaves behind a legacy that is unmatched by any other legend.

While he has a very busy Hollywood schedule, Cena has signed on to become an ambassador for the company moving forward.

Cena returning as an authority figure would be compelling to watch and it’d be interesting to see how well he transitions to life outside of being an in-ring competitor in WWE.
