8 Title Changes At WWE Money In The Bank 2025

WWE Money in the Bank with Tiffany Stratton and Dominik Mysterio

With WWE Money in the Bank 2025 fast approaching, eyes are on the titular ladder matches – but there will also likely be some titles on the line.

With the big PLE presumably set to host some title matches, there may well be some title changes in Los Angeles on June 7 ahead of the first ever two-night SummerSlam in August.

Here are eight potential title changes for WWE Money in the Bank 2025

8. WWE Women’s Championship

While Tiffany Stratton has been able to fend off her foes thus far – defeating Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 41 and then able to retain against Nia Jax on a later episode of SmackDown – there may be a hiccup in her reign.

With Evolution 2 on the horizon in July as well as the first ever two-night SummerSlam set to happen in August, there will likely be a few shake-ups over the summer in the championship scenes.

If Stratton were to lose the title at Money in the Bank to any of a number of challengers – Flair, Naomi, Jade Cargill or Alexa Bliss to name a few – then there is a potential for her to reclaim it later in the Summer.

It seems highly likely that at least one of the women’s top titles will shift hands at Money in the Bank – it may just be that Tiffy’s time as champ has ended.

7. Intercontinental Championship

WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio

While Dirty Dominik Mysterio was able to win the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41, his title defenses have required a little bit of assistance.

It seems as though there is a tipping point on the horizon for Judgment Day, with Liv Morgan’s absence leaving room for Roxanne Perez to get friendly with Dirty Dom, and the continued simmering tension with Finn Balor.

Money in the Bank would be a great place for a title change for the IC Title ahead of SummerSlam, but it remains to be seen if Balor will challenge Mysterio directly or a multi-man match will occur.

Either way, to set up a bigger program for SummerSlam, having Dom drop the title at Money in the Bank could make sense.

6. WWE Tag Team Championship

Currently the Street Profits are holding the WWE Tag Team Championship on SmackDown but are facing a large group of potential opponents.

With SmackDown going off the air in chaos with DIY, Nathan Frazer & Axiom, the Street Profits and the Motor City Machine Guns and the Wyatt Sicks all in the picture, it seems as though there could be a big match on the horizon for Money in the Bank 2025.

Additionally, there remain rumors that perhaps there will a return of Matt and Jeff – the Hardy Boyz – to WWE over the summer, despite being still under contract with TNA Wrestling.

With the innovators of the Tables, Ladders and Chairs match potentially headed for the division, there could be a wild row at Money in the Bank to kick off a summer of fun rivalries.

5. World Tag Team Championship

The New Day remain the World Tag Team Champions on Raw but there are several teams waiting to challenge the pair.

With the Creed Brothers, Alpha Academy, War Raiders, A-Town Down Under, LWO, New Catch Republic and Judgment Day all potential challengers for Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, a title change could be on the horizon for Money in the Bank.

Every tag team title match can’t be a ladder match, but the World Tag Team Title would also be a great one to see a ladder match at Money in the Bank as well.

With such unique styles represented, the crop of tag teams currently on WWE Raw would make for a dynamic multi-team match for the PLE.

4. WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship remains with the Raw pair of Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for now.

Potentially looking to shake up the division in advance of the announced WWE Evolution 2 set for July, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez may drop their title at Money in the Bank.

However, to which team remains uncertain, since several tag teams from the women’s division were recently released, leaving the division with only a handful of options.

With the title changing hands first at Money in the Bank, that sets up the opportunity to have even more teams involved in a bigger battle at Evolution 2.

3. Women’s Intercontinental Championship

With Lyra Valkyria continuing to hold the Women’s Intercontinental Title since becoming the inaugural winner, it certainly seems as though a title change may be coming soon.

While Valkyria and Becky Lynch continue to feud, there also remains the hanging issue of Lynch’s attack on Bayley.

Perhaps the trio will be headed for a bigger battle at Money in the Bank to determine who will go into SummerSlam as the IC champ.

While Lyra Valkyria continues to be a star on the rise, there are definitely plenty of challengers waiting in the wings to strike the avian themed star.

2. Women’s United States Championship

Zelina Vega not only captured the United States Championship from Chelsea Green on a recent edition of SmackDown, but she also retained it in a rematch on Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Cementing herself as a WWE singles champion, it would make sense for Zelina to face some sort of formidable opponent at the upcoming Money in the Bank PLE.

Leaving the opportunity for a true heel (sorry Chelsea, the fans don’t hate you!) to capture the gold from Vega and leading to a program where she attempts to reclaim it at SummerSlam is probably the best route forward.

Also since the SummerSlam host is another NYC native in Cardi B, perhaps Vega will have some backup.

1. United States Championship

Jacob Fatu continues to be a fan favorite after capturing the United States Championship at WrestleMania 41.

Even though he remains at odds with another fan favorite in LA Knight, there seem to be even closer enemies on the horizon for Fatu.

His relationship with Solo Sikoa remains strained, particularly since the introduction of JC Mateo (formerly known as Jeff Cobb), and Fatu has to keep his eye on the new Bloodline in addition to established challengers.

With the likes of LA Knight, Damian Priest, Carmelo Hayes and more all on the hunt for gold, perhaps the Bloodline will cost Fatu at Money in the Bank.
