Since the December 13 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, there has been a lot of discussion about which NXT stars will be called up to the main roster.
Over the past few weeks, Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans and Jordynne Grace have all been called up to Raw and SmackDown.
To end the January 7 New Year’s Evil special, NXT GM Ava informed some Performance Center and ID talent that she will be looking to fill in the holes left by the main roster call-ups in the coming weeks.
Here are eight new WWE NXT stars to potentially replace main roster call-ups.
8. The Vanity Project (Jackson Drake & Swipe Right)

Ever since the introduction of WWE Evolve, it has been clear that the top act on the show has been The Vanity Project.
Led by Jackson Drake alongside Swipe Right’s Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes, the group has been atop the WWE Evolve brand since its revival in March 2025.
With Drake being the inaugural WWE Evolve Men’s Champion and their alliance with Ethan Page, NXT fans have been introduced to The Vanity Project in their appearances on the brand.
It seems clear that The Vanity Project will be moving over to NXT with the recent departures for the brand and this stable feeling like a ready made act for the brand moving forward.

7. Kam Hendrix

Debuting on WWE LFG, fans were introduced to Anthony Luke as one of the more polished and developed in-ring talents on the show.
Despite coming up short in the first two seasons of the program, it seemed inevitable that fans would start seeing Luke more often.
Following his debut on WWE Evolve and dominant performance against Team ID on the final episode of 2025, the newly christened Kam Hendrix seems poised to start appearing on NXT.
With his size, look and similarities to The Rock, Hendrix should be someone that fans need to watch in 2026 and could become a force on WWE NXT.

6. Harlem Lewis

In 2025, Harlem Lewis gained notoriety across different shows in WWE and over in Japan.
First on WWE Evolve, Lewis was established as one of the main hosses on the brand. However, the brute took the opportunity to move over to LFG where he had a strong showing for himself, making it all the way to the finals of season two.
With his hard hitting style, Lewis also made his way to Japan where he appeared alongside Charlie Dempsey for Pro Wrestling NOAH.
Now considering all these experiences over the past 12 months, it might be time for Harlem Lewis to become a breakout star on NXT in the new year.

5. Keanu Carver

Alongside Harlem Lewis, Keanu Carver has been presented as the other half of the hosses that defined the early months of the WWE Evolve revival brand.
Standing at six feet, two inches tall and weighing 290 pounds, Carver has shown himself to be the most intimidating and feared competitors on the Evolve roster.
After coming up short against Jackson Drake for the WWE Evolve Men’s Championship, it might be time for Carver to move up to the NXT brand.
Considering the loss of Oba Femi, Keanu Carver could be someone that can fill in the void left behind by “The Ruler” on the WWE NXT brand moving forward.

4. Tate Wilder

On the January 6 New Year’s Evil edition of WWE NXT, Tate Wilder of WWE Evolve appeared in a backstage segment alongside Ethan Page and Myles Borne.
Since debuting on Evolve, Wilder has felt like a prospect that WWE sees something in and wants to present as a rising star.
After receiving vignettes to hype his arrival and focused storylines on Evolve, Wilder has all the makings of someone that WWE will make a big part of NXT sooner rather than later.
With his unique high flying style and natural agility, Wilder should be someone that fans have to watch and could become a prominently featured talent on NXT throughout 2026.

3. PJ Vasa

Another WWE LFG standout who has since made the transition to Evolve is PJ Vasa.
Introduced as Penina Tuilaepa on LFG season one, the woman known as “P Nasty” instantly stood out for her size, charisma and confidence on the microphone.
Presenting herself as a hard nosed brute, Vasa continued her development and made it all the way to the LFG season two final against Dani Raye.
After not wasting any time in making a smooth transition to the WWE Evolve brand, it should not be surprising to see PJ Vasa take another huge step by getting called up to the WWE NXT brand next.

2. Sean Legacy

There has been no other WWE ID talent who has established themselves as a “can’t miss” prospect on Evolve quite like Sean Legacy.
Displaying remarkable in-ring ability and experience in the business, Legacy has looked ready-made for NXT since his first match on Evolve.
In 2025, Legacy got a few looks on WWE NXT where he took Ethan Page to the limit for the North American Championship and looked impressive against the likes of Je’Von Evans.
Legacy has checked every box and should be a major star for WWE NXT in the new year now that talent like Evans, Oba Femi and Trick Williams are all getting called up to the main roster.

1. Kali Armstrong

Upon the introduction of the WWE Evolve revival brand, Kali Armstrong has been someone who has grabbed the attention of the fans.
Becoming the inaugural WWE Evolve Women’s Champion, Armstrong has been showcased as a future top star for the women’s division.
With recent reports indicating that WWE management see big things in her future, it should be interesting to see if Armstrong can fulfill the “future WrestleMania headliner” tag she has been given as of late.
Armstrong has it all when it comes to strength, speed and intensity inside the squared circle that should make her become a must-see star on the WWE NXT brand before long.
