On the September 23 edition of WWE NXT, talent from TNA Wrestling invaded the Performance Center and attacked the stars from the NXT brand at the end of the show.

With the roster showing up on WWE TV, it opens the question of who could potentially join the TNA Wrestling roster next.

Looking at the current free agency market, there are a variety of stars who could make the transition to TNA where they could showcase their skills on a main stage.

Here are eight potential new TNA Wrestling signings.

8. Ashante “Thee” Adonis

On August 10, 2025, it was revealed that WWE had decided to not renew the contract of Ashante “Thee” Adonis, ending his second stint with the company.

At just 32 years old, Adonis has the experience and exposure to add something new to another pro wrestling promotion.

Looking at the current landscape of the business, Adonis feels like a seamless fit for TNA Wrestling.

Considering their relationship with WWE and his connection to AJ Francis of First Class, Adonis could walk into TNA Wrestling and immediately have a spot waiting for him that should make him a consistent act on television from the start.

7. Giovanni Vinci (Fabian Aichner)

WWE SmackDown star Giovanni Vinci

Back in February, Giovanni Vinci was released from WWE following an eight year run with the promotion.

Regularly known for his impressive in-ring ability, Vinci made a name for himself on WWE NXT and the main roster.

Vinci, real name Fabian Aichner, has been relatively quiet since being released from the company earlier this year.

Aichner potentially signing with TNA Wrestling would add someone who could be slotted in anywhere on the card upon debuting with the company.

6. Duke Hudson (Duke Hanson)

Another former WWE star who left the promotion earlier this year is Duke Hudson.

The former NXT Tag Team Champion had earned a spot as one of the more consistently featured talents on the brand as part of the Chase U stable.

Now that he has returned to the independent scene, Hudson has undergone a name change to Duke Hanson.

Newly motivated following his release, TNA Wrestling could add a veteran in Hanson who could help the younger talent and potentially break out on his own.

Another former champion in NXT who was released over the past year was Cameron Grimes.

Since leaving the company in 2024, Grimes, now going back to his Trevor Lee ring name, has hit the ground running back on the independent scene all around the world.

Lee has gotten into incredible shape and has impressed anywhere he has appeared or competed at.

After over a year since his WWE exit, it feels like the right time for TNA Wrestling to bring Trevor Lee back in the fold and have him become a main eventer in the company for the first time.

Following WWE SummerSlam 2025, Karrion Kross and Scarlett announced that they were now officially free agents after their contracts with the company expired in August.

Over the past year, Kross had cultivated a connection with the WWE audience that made him one of the most popular stars on the roster.

Regularly garnering some of the loudest crowd reactions every single week, Kross proved that he had everything it takes to be someone who can be a bonafide merchandise mover and a character worthy of investment.

Now that this pairing are free agents and free to go elsewhere, Kross and Scarlett could make the move to TNA Wrestling where they have history and could become the potential faces of the company.

3. Gigi Dolin (Priscilla Kelly)

WWE

After a four year run with the company, Gigi Dolin was released in a slate of talent cuts by WWE in May 2025.

Dolin, now going by Priscilla Kelly once again, has returned to the independent scene and been featured in several different promotions over the past few months.

Kelly is someone with over 10 years of pro wrestling experience and would be a wonderful addition to most companies out there.

Based on her prior experience with the company, Priscilla Kelly should be high on TNA Wrestling’s list of free agents and could contribute to their Knockouts division from the moment she officially debuts.

2. Tegan Nox (Nixon Newell)

WWE star Tegan Nox

Another former WWE star who could be an excellent addition to the TNA Knockouts division is Tegan Nox.

After two separate stints with WWE, Nox, now going back to her Nixon Newell name, is someone who was never able to reach her potential in the company due to injuries and lack of opportunities.

Getting the chance to truly flourish, Nixon Newell has everything it takes in the ring to be among the best competitors on any roster.

Newell heading to TNA Wrestling could see her positioned as a top challenger for current TNA Knockouts World Champion Ash By Elegance right from the get-go.

1. Carlito

WWE star Carlito

With his brother Primo and cousin Epico making appearances for TNA in 2025, perhaps there’s also room for another member of the Colon family in the Impact Zone?

Carlito departed WWE at the end of his contract in June this year and sadly never got the chance to finish off his run in a satisfying manner, namely close the book on his run as a amber of The Judgment Day.

While this was unfortunate, many fans would love to see Carlito remain a presence at a prominent promotion in the United States – with TNA being a perfect option.

Not only could it potentially open up the door for Carlito to make cameos in WWE given the current TNA partnership, but also given how great shape Carlito is still in, he very well could become a main event level talent for the company with the right push.
