7 WWE Stars To Turn Babyface

WWE babyface turns thumb with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley

The WWE forecast for the rest of 2024 sees the potential for several long-term heels to finally turn babyface.

It’s typically far easier to pick out babyfaces to turn heel, but at present WWE has so many men and women on the verge of a significant change in character.

While not all of these may come to fruition right away, we certainly wouldn’t be surprised to see them by the time 2024 comes to a close.

Let’s start this list off with a potential major overhaul to one of WWE’s top factions.

7. Damian Priest

The World Heavyweight Champion is pushing to win his matches all by himself and has recently also insisted that he wants to do his promos by himself too.

This comes off the back of massive criticism by media and fans that The Judgment Day is holding Priest back as a credible main-eventer.

While that is debatable, what can’t be argued is the crucial role the group has played in keeping Priest on top of Monday Night Raw thus far as champion.

Priest clearly believes he can do without the group however, shown by his willingness to forfeit his spot in The Judgment Day if he loses to Seth Rollins.

This has led stablemate Finn Balor to believe that Damian Priest has changed – the first glimpse at a possible new future for the outlaw.

Despite still being booed fairly heavily by the livc crowd, Priest has shown glimpses of a babyface turn the far in his World Title reign, and if he splits from The Judgment Day that would push him even further towards the light side.

6. Dominik Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio is one of the biggest heat magnets of the company. Making him turn babyface could hurt his standing.

However, there is one way that could immediately boost Dirty Dom’s connection with the fans.

Mysterio currently has to deal with the manipulative and obsessive nature of Liv Morgan, who is looking to destroy everything that her arch-rival built.

And her grand finale could be taking away Dominik Mysterio from his Mami… While many expect Dom to turn her back on Ripley, perhaps he may surprise us all and do the right thing, securing a babyface turn for he and his Mami.

5. Rhea Ripley

Speaking of Mami, unlike Dom, who’s affiliation could go either way, it seems all but certain that the former Women’s World Champion is returning as a mega babyface.

Rather soon, the arch-rival of Liv Morgan is set to return from injury, and you better believe she’s going to be out for blood.

Her arrival could make Dominik Mysterio side with Mami once again – something that is almost certainly going to be greeted with a massive pop by the fans – a double face turn of both Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio would be a historic moment for sure.

Or it could go the other way, with Dom siding with Morgan as she takes Ripley’s spot in The Judgment Day for good.

4. Indi Hartwell

While Indi Hartwell is currently trying to go with Candice Michelle’s heelish antics, it does not seem that this is working.

Hartwell is not a natural-born heel and maybe is time for the duo to go their separate ways so Indi Wrestling can return.

Unfortunately, the team is not clicking and picking up any significant wins, and surely at some point something will have to change.

Hartwell is now officially without Dexter Lumis, who is now Mercy The Buzzard in the Wyatt Sicks, so she’s going to need to go out on her own – revamping her character and distancing herself from Candice LeRae is a good place to start.

3. Dakota Kai

Has Damage CTRL lost control?

Kai has complained about the lack of opportunities and the frustrations of the faction’s leader, IYO SKY, are rising high. Additionally, Asuka is still out injured, so the group that used to rule the Women’s Division is struggling a lot.

Usually, it is only a matter of time for IYO SKY to put the blame on someone and it seems that Dakotai Kai could be the easy victim.

Recently it seems like the fans want to cheer for the New Zealand Superstar, this might be the time to pull the trigger.

2. Jimmy Uso

At this moment in time, Jimmy Uso is still out injured.

It is clear as day that the twin brother of Jey Uso won’t be able to rejoin The Bloodline. A group that he was viciously removed from.

Whether he rejoins his brother on Raw or even better is part of a plan to reunite the original Bloodline in full remains to be seen.

Luckily for him, he is not the only Samoan ready to turn to the light side again.

1. Roman Reigns

There is not a single name chanted more often in WWE without being physically present than Roman Reigns. The fans have already decided on the Roman Reigns face turn, but it is now on WWE to push through with it.

Ultimately it only a matter of timing when the Tribal Chief returns and spears Solo Sikoa to the ground, but when will we see the trigger pulled?

SummerSlam seems a likely bet, especially with Sikoa poised to take on Cody Rhodes in the main event of the show.

Reigns emerging to take down Sikoa and his seat at the Head of the Table would be a truly full circle moment for Reigns. Prior to the Tribal Chief character WWE were obsessed with pushing him as a babyface but it never clicked. Now? Well… It just feels right.
