WWE has only one more episode of Monday Night Raw on the USA Network before they make their way over to Netflix.
This will prove to be the biggest change to the WWE product in over two decades and should come with some wholesale shakeups to their entire programming.
Whether it be in regards to the roster alignment, character direction or title changes, these shifts will allow Raw to expand and evolve as they enter the world of streaming.
With the Netflix premiere on the horizon, here are seven potential WWE Raw changes in 2025.
7. The New Day Capture WWE World Tag Team Championships

The New Day have become public enemy number one on Monday Night Raw since turning on Big E during their 10-year anniversary celebration.
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have shown no remorse for their actions despite the visceral reaction from the fans and their peers on the roster.
With The War Raiders defeating The Judgment Day to win the World Tag Team Titles, it should set the stage for The New Day to challenge for the gold.
Kingston and Woods should be positioned front and center for the tag team division to be elevated to a more prominent spot on WWE TV. The company can do that by placing the tag titles on The New Day.

6. The Judgment Day Splits Up

The Judgment Day has underwent plenty of changes throughout 2024 with the departures of The Terror Twins as well as the additions of Liv Morgan, Carlito and Raquel Rodriguez.
The new version of the group has not been on the winning side of things over the past few weeks with Finn Balor coming up short in his bid for the World Heavyweight Title and losing the World Tag Team Titles.
Balor has been showcasing jealousy towards Morgan and Dominik Mysterio for weeks now and should lead to a blowup coming soon.
The Judgment Day finally splitting up for good will finally happen in 2025 and should benefit everyone involved to be on their own with a chance to succeed without the weight of this faction.

5. Edgier Storylines & Promos On Netflix

Ever since WWE announced that Raw will be moving to Netflix, many fans have expected some programming closer to the Attitude Era.
Without the constraints of cable television, there should be a looser feel to how storylines play out and how promos sound.
While fans should not expect sex and foul language on WWE TV, they should anticipate some edgier programming on Netflix.
Whether it be more adult storytelling or language on the microphone, WWE stars should have a lot more freedom to bring edge to their storylines and promos.

4. “Mami Back On Top” – Rhea Ripley Wins WWE Women’s World Championship

Rhea Ripley is set to challenge Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s World Championship on the January 6 Netflix premiere of Monday Night Raw.
This showdown should prove to be the final blowoff match between these two rivals who have been feuding for the duration of 2024.
Morgan has done an exceptional job in her new heel character and proven to be a strong heel champion, but it is time for Rhea Ripley to regain the gold that she never lost.
Ripley defeating Morgan to finally recapture the title should be a memorable moment on the Netflix premiere and will shake up the power structure in the Raw women’s division.

3. CM Punk Dethrones GUNTHER For The World Heavyweight Title

Another major bout on the WWE Raw on Netflix premiere will see CM Punk finally face off with Seth Rollins. This grudge match will be the headliner for the Netflix premiere and should lay out who will be next up for the World Heavyweight Championship.
After taking down both Finn Balor and Damian Priest at Saturday Night’s Main Event, GUNTHER has no more challengers ahead of him for the top prize on Raw.
With a win over Rollins, Punk should finally vie for the World Heavyweight Championship. After facing GUNTHER on a Chicago house show, it looks like WWE is prepping for a big title contest at the Royal Rumble.
Punk should be the one to finally dethrone The Ring General and become the face of the Monday Night Raw brand.

2. Roman Reigns & The Bloodline Storyline Comes To WWE Raw on Netflix

The upcoming Netflix move will once again make Monday Night Raw the flagship show for WWE.
After four years dominating the main event program on SmackDown, it is about time that Roman Reigns makes the move back to the red brand.
Reigns and The Bloodline storyline has been the centerpiece storyline of WWE during their latest boom period and should be showcased on Raw.
Having the likes of The OTC, The Usos, Sami Zayn, Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu on Raw will make it must see programming that fans will be watching each week for all the twists and turns.

1. Seth Rollins Turns Heel

Since Survivor Series 2024, Seth Rollins has been irate and hellbent on getting his hands on his former friend-turned-rival, CM Punk.
The upcoming clash on the WWE Raw on Netflix premiere will prove to be physically intense and will try to settle the score between the two for good.
However, a loss for Rollins might finally be the breaking point for the former multi-time WWE World Champion and lead to his heel turn.
Rollins going off the deep end could make his feud with Punk even more heated and could be the catalyst to finally pulling the trigger on the long anticipated rekindling of his rivalry with Roman Reigns.
