NXT may have become a powerful third brand for WWE, but at its heart, it is still developmental.
Still, it is the place where careers go to change, talent get their first break, and the creative juices flow unlike any other place.
Unfortunately, sometimes talent hits rock bottom, and the realisation comes to mind that their current path is not working.
Fortunately, though, this is where pro wrestling invented the repackaging.
7. Andre Chase
Ever since Chase U fell apart, Mr. Chase has been trying to find happiness in life again.
However, Uriah Connors and Kale Dixon recently took matters into their own hands and began to form a connection with the former university professor.
Logically, this should not lead to a Chase University 2.0 but rather to something new. Something fresh.
Although Connors and Dixon seem like jokers, they are more than meets the eye, and the trio could become a very serious faction once they figure out where they want to go.

6. Thea Hail
Thea Hail is another former member of the Chase U, and ever since that stable got broken up she has vanished from WWE TV.
Perhaps Hail was the biggest success story of the crew, building a strong connection to the crowd with her energetic character and friendly nature.
That means a character change has to be made with incredible care. You would want to make the character grow but also not lose the incredible connection to the fans.
Potentially, that is why Hail has been missing for months, trying to figure out what is the best way to go forward.

5. Lola Vice
Sometimes, things just do not work out, and that is okay.
Lola Vice is a unique character, but being a dancing and fun-loving character with an MMA background is quite the mismatch.
Sadly, this led to her push being discontinued, and now she only remains a somewhat regular face on WWE NXT instead of being at the top of the division.
Maybe it is time to transition to a much more vicious route for Lola Vice.

4. Arianna Grace
Arianna Grace’s appearances on NXT programming have have dramatically reduced, and her most recent appearances have come on TNA TV rather than WWE TV.
The daughter of Santino Marella may lean into a more babyface-centered persona rather than her current heel character down the line.
Grace is a very talented actress and absolutely has every right to be a featured name on the NXT television program.
All she needs is something more to work with and maybe also something different.

3. Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura
Shawn Michaels struck gold when he put these two together.
Briggs and Inamura greatly benefit from each other as a team. All they need is that one small step to become serious championship contenders.
Naturally, that is matching gear, an entrance theme and a tag team name.
This is a Frankenteam that works, so WWE just needs to go all in on them.

2. Nathan Frazer
Fraxiom are fine… or are they? Many fans never expected the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship run of Axiom and Nathan Frazer to last as long as it has.
Collectively, they became one of the greatest success stories of Shawn Michaels’ creative career. Some even say Fraxiom are currently the best tag team in the world.
But at the end of the day, Fraxiom is not built to last, and it might be sooner than later that the team explodes, and the man to make the team go boom is none other than Nathan Frazer.
A heel Nathan Frazer is something new, and given his great character work, it has endless potential.

1. Trick Williams
For the first time since Trick Willy lost his NXT Championship, we are currently seeing some real character development in him.
Williams has been the top babyface of WWE NXT for a while, but with Oba Femi, Je’Von Evans is vying for his spot, and he knows that.
Trick has already begun to change his look and the way he talks, it may just be a matter of time until he makes the move to a full-blown new character.
