With plenty of WWE WrestleMania 42 matches left to be announced, there are certain to be some potential show stealers from the SmackDown brand.
From matches that have already been teased to others that may come about in the near future, there are a lot of big feuds on SmackDown to explore in Las Vegas this year.
Here are seven SmackDown brand WWE WrestleMania 42 matches that could be announced soon.
7. Randy Orton vs. Aleister Black
Recently having a match against Aleister Black on SmackDown, it doesn’t seem that the conflict between Randy Orton and Black is set to slow down anytime soon.
Having another contemptuous backstage interaction the February 27 edition of WWE SmackDown, perhaps there is a WrestleMania 42 feud and finally match coming soon between the two.
With perhaps the eventual result of a feud with Aleister Black may be that Black loses the match but wins the overall war, the conflict could prove pivotal for Randy Orton.
While Orton has been presented as an affable veteran for quite some time, his heelish tendencies certainly have never disappeared — leaving the door open for potentially a return to his more dastardly and vicious Viper persona.

6. Carmelo Hayes vs. Trick Williams vs. Ilja Dragunov for the United States Championship
There could be a major triple threat incoming for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas for Carmelo Hayes‘W= WWE United States Championship.
With Trick Williams quickly becoming a fan favorite, there could certainly be a big triple-threat coming to the United States Championship at WrestleMania 42 which sees a big heel turn.
Since Hayes has already recently turned babyface, it would make the most sense to see Ilja Dragunov make the switch to become a more dastardly version of himself.
With a lack of heels on SmackDown to provide balance to the surplus of popular babyface stars, it could be a perfect time for Dragunov to bring a new attitude to his intensity.

5. Charlotte Flair vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Kiana James vs. Giulia for the women’s United States Championship
With Giulia holding the WWE Women’s United States Championship, it could be that there is an even bigger match than the men’s for the title.
Bringing together a few storylines, putting the US title on the line against manager Kiana James and the tag team of Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
Able to tell a fascinating story of each of the women wanting to strike a balance between loyalty to their partners and ambition for themselves, the match could end up bringing some closer together while driving others apart.
With a potential swerve ahead, it could always end up being Alexa Bliss that turns on Flair to set up a brand new feud that paints Flair as the babyface moving forward.

4. Nia Jax & Lash Legend vs. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss
With a recent change in the women’s WWE Tag Team Championship on TV, it could be that there is a big bout coming for WrestleMania 42.
After the Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax & Lash Legend) were able to topple RHIYO (Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY) ont he February 27 edition of SmackDown, the pair wont heir first tag titles together.
Already teasing an on-going feud with the pair of Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, it could be that the former champs could be looking to reclaim tag gold at WrestleMania 42 rather than pursuing singles goals.
In a tag team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship that could also include the pairs of Bayley & Lyra Valkria and the Bella Twins representing WWE Raw, there could be a fatal four-way on the horizon.

3. Sami Zayn vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
One bout that wouldn’t need any titles on the line but could certainly build to a massive match might be Sami Zayn versus Shinsuke Nakamura.
With a recent shift in attitude from Sami Zayn, it could be that Zayn is slowly slipping into a new level of madness with his quest to capture a world title.
Perhaps with a major heel turn incoming from Zayn, it could be that he ends up having a big match with another beloved technician with decades of in-ring experience in Shinsuke Nakamura.
Able to give each a solid place on the card for either night of WrestleMania 42, the duo would likely put on a complete show stealer.

2. MFT’s vs. Wyatt Sicks
After it seemed as though the feud between the MFTs and the Wyatt Sicks factions was set to come to a close, it may not be ending any time soon.
Uncle Howdy and Solo Sikoa did have a singles match without either of their respective factions at ringside whereby Howdy won clean.
But as he left the ring to recapture the Wyatt Sicks’ signature lantern from ringside after it had been stolen in the past by Sikoa, his reclamation was brief.
After holding it for a short time, Howdy was rocked from out of nowhere by a big boot from the MFTs who grabbed back the lantern and fled. Likely continuing on to WrestleMania 42, it could be that there is a no holds barred match on the way between the groups.

1. Drew McIntyre vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu
With Drew McIntyre seemingly hoping to impact which stars are eligible to make it into the Chamber and thereby minimizing his risks at WrestleMania 42 — the quest may have been all for not.
While the winner of the Elimination Chamber remains unknown (at time of writing), it would make complete sense to see the Undisputed WWE Championship match still end up a multi-man bout in the end.
With a potential fourth included if Rhodes doesn’t win the Chamber, there could still be the inclusion of Jacob Fatu to make the match even bigger.
Able to set up an amazing series of dynamics on the Road to WrestleMania 42, it could be that the more the merrier for the Undisputed WWE Championship match in Las Vegas.
