WWE Raw is set to move over to Netflix in January 2025, which will be a big moment for the red brand.

With new champions crowned at SummerSlam, the future of the Raw roster is set for a big change up, as is the overall landscape of the show.

Here are 7 changes that could be coming to WWE Raw soon.

7) Sami Zayn & Jey Uso To Leave WWE Raw

Jey Uso and Sami Zayn have come back together in recent weeks, with the two seemingly on course for a shot at the World Tag Team Championship.

However, the two are seemingly not long for the Raw roster given the events set to unfold on SmackDown soon.

Jey Uso will almost certainly be a part of the upcoming Bloodline Civil War, and Sami likely will too, so their days on Raw are seemingly coming to an end soon.

Jey has been floating around for a while, likely freeing him up to move over when the time is right.

6) The New Day Breaking Up

After a decade together, it finally seems as though the end of the New Day could be upon us.

Karrion Kross has been attempting to get Xavier Woods to leave Kofi Kingston for seemingly forever now, and the introduction of Odyssey Jones may have sped up the process.

New Day & Odyssey are set to face off with the Final Testament on this week’s Raw show, so the turn could come as soon as then.

New Day aren’t the only team on Raw seemingly set for splitsville soon.

5) Awesome Truth Breaking Up

The Awesome Truth reunited earlier this year, and one World Tag Team Championship run later, the end is seemingly in sight for the team.

Truth and Miz lost to A-Town Down Under on the WWE Raw after SummerSlam following a mistake by R-Truth, with Truth also setting up Miz to be destroyed by Bronson Reed last week.

The Miz is always at his best as a heel, so a turn for him will likely help freshen him up in the long-run.

Truth will always have a fun place on the show as a beloved hero babyface, so maybe it’s for the best this time.

4) WWE Raw Content Change Following Netflix Move

WWE’s move to Netflix is set to take place in January of 2025, and one thing that a lot of fans have been speculating about ahead of the move is reduced censorship.

Speaking on the upcoming move to Netflix on the Pat McAfee Show, Triple H said:

“Just as an example, us being on FOX, if the crowd chants ‘holy s**t’ or something much worse, they just take the audio (out). Sometimes they take the picture and the audio off and it’s just a black screen.

“The Rock comes in and you sort of can’t tell The Rock what to do. What are we going to tell him? So, he sort of does what he does. We won’t have those issues with Netflix.”

3) WWE Raw Commentary Change

One other change that will be coming to Raw soon is a change to the voices at the announce table.

ESPN’s Joe Tessitore is set to join the table in September, with a new Monday Night Raw announce team beginning on September 2.

However, once the move to Netflix takes place, Michael Cole and Pat McAfee will return to the Raw brand, with Corey, Wade and Joe moving over to SmackDown.

Hopefully the changes to the announce teams help bring a new feeling to WWE Raw ahead of the Netflix move.

2) Raquel Rodriguez Reuniting With Liv Morgan On WWE Raw

Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Raquel Rodriguez is reportedly set to return to the company soon after taking time off to recover from Mast Cell Activation Syndrome.

Raquel briefly returned back in February to compete in the Elimination Chamber, but has not been seen on Raw since due to her recovery.

Liv Morgan is heavily outmuscled against Rhea Ripley right now, and her and Raquel both have their issues with Rhea, so Raquel returning as Liv’s muscle would make a whole lot of sense.

They’re former two-time Tag Team Champions together after all.

1) WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship To Debut On Raw

It was reported recently that WWE had discussed bringing in new Women’s Intercontinental and United States Championship titles, and it could be time to introduce them soon.

The Raw women’s roster is currently stacked with women, most of whom could use some help being established on the show.

A number of women are currently not quite at the level to become World Champion, so having a run with the midcard title could help give them something of a trial run.

Women such as Lyra Valkyria, Dakota Kai, Kairi Sane, Zoey Stark and Zelina Vega competing to capture the new championship would immediately give the midcard women’s division something interesting to do.
