After WWE WrestleMania 41 there could be major changes that impact storylines across the company.
Often seen as a reset point, WrestleMania leads to big changes in storyline after the dust has settled, but this year seems as though the potential for shake-ups is more likely than ever.
Here are seven changes that could happen to WWE after WrestleMania 41.
7. John Cena Takes Undisputed WWE Championship And Disappears

Seemingly the ‘most obvious’ change to WWE post WrestleMania 41 would be John Cena capturing his historic 17th WWE World Championship and ending Cody Rhodes’ year long run as the company’s ‘Captain’.
True to his word, John Cena winning the title and disappearing into the sunset would be something that would leave the future of not only Cena but Cody Rhodes and several other championship contenders up in the air.
No fan fare, no fun moments for fans – without a clear timeframe as to when he might return, speculation would run amok regarding whether he would ever come back.
Leaving his whereabouts and movements a complete mystery (at least to WWE audiences, I’m sure super sleuths would be able to actually locate him), the WWE locker room could build countless storylines in the weeks and months that follow.

6. Becky Lynch Returns On WWE Raw After WrestleMania 41

Fans continue to patiently await the return of multi-time former WWE Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
With no obvious avenue onto the WrestleMania 41 card, the Raw after Mania seems like the most likely place for The Man to make a big return.
While it has been reported that she re-signed with WWE, an actual timeframe for her potential return to action has remained mysterious.
Lynch was last seen back in May 2024 where she lost a steel cage match to Liv Morgan (with an interference from Dominik Mysterio) so perhaps we’ll see her return to Raw and rekindle their bad blood or event confront whoever holds the Women’s World Championship after WrestleMania weekend is over.

5. Paul Heyman Aligns With CM Punk

With the favor that Paul Heyman still owes CM Punk still yet to be revealed, perhaps there is something very big in the works.
If an emotional conclusion to Night One of WWE WrestleMania 41 saw Paul Heyman align with CM Punk over Roman Reigns – fans in Las Vegas would go berserk.
Such a major moment could send ripple effects through the rest of the WWE storylines and create a big change moving forward, especially to Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.
Whether babyface or heel, CM Punk certainly has plenty of stories left to be told in WWE after WrestleMania 41.

4. Jey Uso Becomes WWE World Heavyweight Champion

Despite WWE portraying Jey Uso as a man filled with self doubt heading into WrestleMania 41, there is a very good chance Mr. ‘Main Event’ is leaving Las Vegas as the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Whether Jey ends up having as lengthy a run as GUNTHER has remains to be seen, but there’s no denying that his win at WrestleMania 41 would be a historic and memorable one.
Opening up an entire host of intriguing options for who could feud with Uso next, there may be foes closer to home vying for Jey’s gold.
Any member of the Bloodline could turn on Jey (including Sami Zayn) to get a shot the World title – meaning he would have a lot of emotional ground to explore realizing that with the big win would also come with some big trust issues!

3. Surprise WWE NXT Call-Ups

WrestleMania is widely considered to be the ‘season finale’ of WWE – with the week that follows The Show of Shows being a perfect time to add some new characters to the Raw and SmackDown rosters.
While it is expected that there will be some NXT stars drafted to Raw or SmackDown during the future WWE Draft – it would be great to see some NXT stars jumake the move after WrestleMania 41.
Possible call-ups include – Roxanne Perez, Trick Williams, ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page and Tony D’Angelo, but we’ll have to wait and see who actually shows up.
With other sought after stars (like Oba Femi and Stephanie Vaquer) currently holding NXT gold, perhaps after Stand & Deliver those without gold could show up on the main roster.

2. Aleister Black Returns

With some spooky vignettes seemingly teasing Aleister Black’s impending return, fans are excited to see what WWE does with the former AEW star in his second run in WWE.
While Black’s fellow AEW alum Rey Fenix is set for a debut on next Friday’s SmackDown (April 4) reports have suggested that Black will instead return on the SmackDown after WrestleMania 41.
Whether or not this happens exactly as reported it will be intriguing to see what he does next.
Unlike his lacklustre first run on WWE’s main roster, Aleister Black competing under the creative guidance of former NXT boss Triple H is a reason to be excited and should allow for some of the creative freedom that made his time in the black and gold so special.

1. Seth Rollins Joins The Rock & John Cena Faction

Seth Rollins hates CM Punk so much – it seems he is likely to do just about anything to get in his way.
One pair that may have some amount of bad blood towards CM Punk are The Rock and John Cena – providing Rollins the perfect way to truly screw Punk, while also selling out in the process.
With a few clues already planted (Rollins helping Cena win Elimination Chamber being just one), it wouldn’t seem that wild for Rollins to be their third man.
That is, if you believe that there is a third man!
