The big WWE Raw move to Netflix is getting closer, but there are still plenty of things that could change on the brand before then.
From personnel changes, future plans, and even the run time of the show, plenty of adjustments could be coming to the red brand.
Here are seven changes that could be coming to WWE Raw soon.
7. WWE Raw Going Back To Two Hours

Starting next week, October 7, WWE Raw will become a two-hour show for the remainder of the year.
This mahor change is likely going to be the catalyst for a few more, which is what we’ll get to later in this list.
At this point, it’s unknown exactly what the plan is when Raw moves to Netflix in January – it could stay at two hours, go back to three hours, or, since it’s not linear TV, be flexible from week-to-week.
Perhaps WWE is going to use these next couple of months as a measure of how two-hour shows play out and make a decision from there.

6. WWE Raw Stars Moving To SmackDown

In another time-based change, WWE SmackDown is set to move to three hours at the start of 2025, which means there’ll be an extra hour to fill on that show every week.
That likely means it’s going to need a bigger roster, and if Raw is going to be shorter than three hours from that point onwards, the obvious play would be to move some current Raw stars over to SmackDown.
There aren’t many people on Raw right now who struggle for TV time, but perhaps the Alpha Academy and a few others could do with the refresh.
One big one could be Drew McIntyre, which would separate him from CM Punk rather than having them coexist on the same show after the culmination of their feud.

5. Becky Lynch Returning To WWE Raw

We don’t know exactly when it’ll be, but with every day that goes by, the WWE return of Becky Lynch gets closer.
And when she does return, the most likely destination will be Raw, where she can pick up her issues with both Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley.
The premiere on Netflix would be an obvious choice to make a big splash on that show, and it’s good timing with the road to WrestleMania as well.
From there, you could potentially build to a Lynch vs Ripley vs Morgan three-way match at Mania.

4. New Day Splitting Up

The big question is – will they, or won’t they?
We’re coming up on the 10-year anniversary of New Day, but tensions are higher than they’ve ever been between Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
Are we kicking off a heel run for Woods? Maybe even a return for Big E to get them back on the same page?
Whatever the case, the fact there’s even been issues between New Day has already been a big change, but it could all be leading to something even bigger.

3. Gallus Join Drew McIntyre

WWE has gotten back into the habit of bringing in NXT talents for matches on the Main Event tapings that take place each week before Raw goes live.
Usually, it’s not indicative of a call-up, but when it becomes a pattern, there’s clearly something in play.
Gallus have been on Main Event tapings multiple times now, and they’re at the show again tonight for the second straight week.
There are no guarantees, but the obvious conclusion would be that they’re being thought about for a call-up to the main roster, and one often-pitched way to do that would be for them to form an alliance with fellow Scot Drew McIntyre.

2. WWE Raw Announcers Changing For Netflix

We’re just a few weeks into the new WWE Raw announce team of Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett, but that’s not expected to last much longer.
Michael Cole has already announced that when Raw moves to Netflix, he’ll be reuniting with Pat McAfee on Raw.
It could change, but it kind of feels like the Cole and McAfee team is part of what was pitched to Netflix as part of the deal, so it’s unlikely.
While this part isn’t confirmed, it presumably means the plan is for Tessitore and Barrett to head to SmackDown to form a three-man team with Corey Graves.

1. Seth Rollins Returning

A few weeks ago, Seth Rollins was attacked by Bronson Reed and written off WWE TV, but it feels like we’re getting close to seeing his comeback.
Rollins has been back in headlines recently for his antics at football games, but it could be that the timing is not a coincidence.
Moreover, Reed’s feud with Braun Strowman is seemingly hitting its culmination in a Last Man Standing match on tonight’s Raw.
If Reed can pick up the win, it could be the ideal way to bring Rollins back afterwards and set the stage for Reed vs Rollins.
