WWE Bash in Berlin will see the next step in several big feuds, and the culmination of others – with the Raw afterwards on Monday, September 1 beginning the build for the company’s next PLE Bad Blood.

While there are some exciting possibilities going into the Fall for WWE Raw, there are also plenty of changes that could be coming to both the roster and the show as a whole.

Here are seven changes potentially coming to WWE Raw after Bash in Berlin.

7. Randy Orton & GUNTHER To Swap Brands

The anticipated main event of WWE Bash in Berlin will see any doubts erased regarding the finish to the King of the Ring finals back in May, as GUNTHER and Randy Orton settle the score and prove who is the better man.

While many expect GUNTHER to retain, there is the potential for a big change to both the WWE Raw and SmackDown rosters once the bell has rung at the end of this match.

If Orton dethrones GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship then he will also take The Ring General’s spot on the Raw roster – with the Austrian moving over to Friday nights as a result.

As much as a shock as it would be if this actually happens, nobody can deny how big an impact it would have to the WWE landscape as a whole.

6. Imperium New Member

WWE's Imperium

In the likely event that GUNTHER does retain his World Heavyweight Championship in Berlin, there may still be a big change coming pertaining to The Ring General’s Imperium faction.

WWE have continued to acknowledge Imperium’s existence ever since Giovanni Vinci was given the boot but calling Imperium a faction is a stretch, as there’s only two members: GUNTHER and Ludwig Kaiser.

For a faction to be a faction, there has to be at least three right? So, perhaps following Bash in Berlin, or perhaps at the show itself a new member arises – helping GUNTHER secure a huge win in a big title match.

Who this could be? There’s few obvious options, but perhaps Ilja Dragunov? That would certainly make for an unexpected development given The Mad Russian’s history with GUNTHER, however, he isn’t doing much of note on WWE TV so why not?

5. The New Day Split

You’ve got to feel for Karrion Kross. After months of trying, The Final Testament failed to drive a wedge between Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, only for Odyssey Jones to accomplish this almost immediately.

Since Jones showed up on the scene Woods has been visibly a bit off, which suggests that after 10 years we may finally see a New Day split.

Many thought we’d never see the day, but at this point it seems like the best option for the group, and especially Xavier Woods who is the still the only of The New Day yet to achieve singles championship success.

A heel turn for Woods could see him finally achieve that, while Kingston progresses into a tag team with Jones – who could benefit from the veterans mentorship as he finds his feet on the main roster.

4. Alexa Bliss Returns

Alexa Bliss recently dropped what many fans are perceiving as a tease of her WWE return via social media – fuelling speculation that she could return and play a role in the ongoing Wyatt Sicks storyline.

While this seems like the obvious route, WWE have recently chose not to do the obvious thing with another star that has obvious ties to the group: Braun Strowman.

So, perhaps they play the long game and Bliss simply returns to do her own thing, or they do address the elephant in the room straight up and have Bliss either join up or engage in a storyline with them.

Either way it would simply just be awesome to have Bliss back, with her last WWE appearance at the 2023 Royal Rumble seeming like a lifetime ago.

3. WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship

The women’s mid-card scene in WWE has long required some kind of prize to be fought for, with too many stars outside the main event scene left to either enter the tag division or languish without direction.

It was reported by PWNexus in July that WWE had ‘discussed’ introducing Women’s Intercontinental and United States Titles, so there is a chance are preyers are indeed answered in the near future.

While more titles isn’t always a good idea, these do feel totally necessary even if its just a single mid-card title across both brands.

Not every star can compete in the world title picture, so to prevent so many being lost in the shuffle this one needs to happen.

2. The Lucha Brothers Debut

The Lucha Brothers making their entrance as AEW World Tag Team Champions alongside Alex Abrahantes

AEW’s Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix are reportedly WWE bound, with it seeming a matter of time before we have confirmation regarding this happening.

While questions remain regarding when Fenix’s AEW deal will actually expire, due to the potential of injury time being added there is a real possibility that we could see The Lucha Brothers debut on WWE TV post-Bash In Berlin.

While many will perhaps expect them to debut on WWE NXT first, it’s really debatable whether this is necessary given their experience levels.

While the more casual WWE audience may not be 100% familiar with them, the main roster needs strong tag teams as well as better booking overall for that matter. So hopefully The Lucha Brothers’ arrival on WWE Raw or SmackDown could facilitate Triple H putting a greater emphasis on his tag ranks.

1. Jey Uso & Sami Zayn Move To SmackDown

Speaking of tag teams, it seems likely that Sami Zayn and Jey Uso will be pursuing WWE Raw’s World Tag Team Championships in the near future.

Despite this however, it feels like their future lies away from the red brand, with it being a matter of time before they get dragged into the ongoing Bloodline conflict over on SmackDown.

Roman Reigns needs help combatting Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, and we all know which three men he may have to call upon… None other than his OG Bloodline crew of The Usos and Sami Zayn.

With a reported Bloodline War Games match in the works for Survivor Series it just makes more sense for both to move to SmackDown. Nothing to do with The Bloodline saga is short-term, and there’s potential for this new conflict to carry on well beyond the new year and maybe beyond.
