WWE is now just over a month away from WrestleMania 42 on April 18 and 19 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
On the road to Mania, there are several heels who could be turning and embracing the cheers from the crowd.
With so many weeks ahead of “The Show of Shows,” there could be some major character changes on both Raw and SmackDown before the company heads to Vegas.
Here are seven potential babyface turns before WWE WrestleMania 42.
7. Trick Williams

Since making his WWE main roster debut in January, Trick Williams has quickly become one of the popular stars on Friday Night SmackDown.
Usually garnering one of the loudest cheers of anyone on the WWE roster today, Williams has been flourishing since his main roster callup.
The former two-time NXT Champion has showcased his tremendous talking ability and displayed himself with top star energy in a significant way.
Following reports of WWE discussing a possible babyface turn for Williams, fans might see Trick turning babyface in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

6. Chelsea Green

After the WWE Royal Rumble 2026 premium live event, Chelsea Green suffered a serious ankle injury that has sidelined her ever since.
The former WWE Women’s United States Champion has remained on the company’s programming in a wheelchair.
While she is currently sidelined, Green could continue to play her character on Friday Night SmackDown and has been garnering more positive reactions from the crowd.
Green turning babyface could be the right move for her right now in the weeks leading to WrestleMania 42 where she can start to fully connect with the fans as a popular star on the WWE roster.

5. Kairi Sane

Ever since Asuka made her comeback to WWE in 2025, “The Empress of Tomorrow” has taken a commandeering behavior towards her tag team partner Asuka.
The Kabuki Warriors are former multi-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, but as of late, it has become clear that Asuka doesn’t care about the singles aspirations of Sane.
At WWE Royal Rumble 2026, Kairi accidentally eliminated Asuka from the Women’s Royal Rumble Match.
With Asuka showing that she wasn’t concerned with Sane qualifying for the Women’s Elimination Chamber, Kairi could choose to stand up for herself and turn babyface by becoming her own woman ahead of WrestleMania 42 this April.

4. Finn Balor

On the January 19 episode of Monday Night Raw, CM Punk defeated Finn Balor to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.
These two men’s feud has continued with a rematch set for the WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 premium live event.
In the midst of this rivalry, fans have seen dissension coming to the surface between Balor and his Judgment Day stablemates.
After the huge reaction he got in his home island of Ireland last month, Balor could turn babyface and break free from The Judgment Day, potentially setting up a showdown with Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 42.

3. Seth Rollins

Back in October 2025, Seth Rollins suffered a serious shoulder injury that has kept him sidelined since then and led to him relinquishing the World Heavyweight Title.
This also led to Rollins being excommunicated from The Vision by Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman.
With the masked man making The Vision’s lives a living hell, it could be revealed that it is in fact Rollins behind the mask and sets up a rivalry with his former stablemates leading to WWE WrestleMania 42.
Rollins returning as a babyface feels like a no-brainer at this point and could set the stage for a showdown with Breakker on “The Grandest Stage of Them All.”

2. Liv Morgan

At WWE Royal Rumble 2026, Liv Morgan won the Women’s Royal Rumble Match and punched her ticket for WrestleMania 42.
Over the past few weeks, Morgan has been contemplating her decision for Mania before finally choosing Stephanie Vaquer’s WWE Women’s World Championship at Mania.
Now that the match has been announced for “The Showcase of the Immortals,” WWE could work a story that changes the dynamic between Morgan and Vaquer in a major way.
Having a double turn that makes Vaquer the heel and Morgan the babyface would be interesting and draw more attention to this rivalry ahead of WrestleMania 42.

1. Drew McIntyre

On the January 9 episode of WWE SmackDown, Drew McIntyre defeated Cody Rhodes in a Three Stages of Hell Match to win the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Since this title change, McIntyre has been receiving more of a positive reaction, while Rhodes has garnered some boos from the fans along the way.
With Rhodes looking likely to win the Men’s Elimination Chamber, it feels like fans will see Cody and Drew clashing once again in some form or fashion come WrestleMania 42.
To change up the alignment a bit, Rhodes could turn heel, while McIntyre could undergo a babyface turn and become the fan favorite before “The Show of Shows.”
