There is currently no AEW Hall of Fame, but in the event one was to be created, there are a host of legendary choices to be inducted.
Despite the company’s still-short lifespan at this point, numerous names have cemented themselves as deserving of the honor if it was to be introduced.
Here are seven potential AEW Hall of Fame inductees.
7. Brodie Lee

In the event that an AEW Hall of Fame is created in the future, Brodie Lee would certainly be among the first group of inductees.
Joining AEW from a past history of being both an Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion in WWE as Luke Harper, he would go on to capture the TNT Championship during his time in AEW.
Sadly, Lee, real name Jon Huber, tragically passed away in December 2020. After his passing, the subsequent tribute edition of AEW Dynamite showed how much love everyone in AEW and the wrestling world had for him.
Tony Khan has commented in the past that in the event there’s ever an AEW Hall of Fame, Brodie Lee would be among the first inductees.

6. Jay & Mark Briscoe

A posthumous induction of Jay Briscoe on his own would be entirely appropriate after his tragic passing in January 2023.
However, given their contributions to professional wrestling as a duo, inducting both Mark and Jay Briscoe would be a great tribute.
While they were already inducted into the Ring of Honor Hall of Fame, it would also make sense to see them in any future AEW Hall of Fame as well.
Having already contributed a great deal to professional wrestling, Mark Briscoe remains active in competition and universally beloved as he continues on in memory of his brother.

5. Bryan Danielson

While he has already been inducted into Ring of Honor Hall of Fame in the inaugural class of 2022, Bryan Danielson seems like a very likely choice for any future AEW Hall of Fame.
Although he has seemingly retired from in-ring competition, Tony Khan has been vocal about Danielson’s continued contributions to the company behind the scenes.
Since that aspect has largely remained out of the public eye, hearing an induction ceremony speech regarding that particular dynamic would be an intriguing glimpse into the backstage contributions of Danielson.
There is also another notable former WWE star that would seemingly be a guaranteed member of any future AEW Hall of Fame…

4. Chris Jericho

One inductee in any future AEW Hall of Fame that many fans could agree on is Chris Jericho.
Whether or not fans enjoy his current performances, he was undeniably vital to the launch of AEW and was the promotion’s first ever World Champion.
Although he lacks the ‘EVP’ designation, Chris Jericho has been a foundational member of the company since its debut.
Given his longstanding history in professional wrestling well before declaring himself ‘All Elite’, Jericho would make a lot of sense as an inaugural member of a potential AEW Hall of Fame.

3. Sting

Before ever signing with AEW, Sting had already had a Hall of Fame worthy career in professional wrestling.
From his time in WCW to TNA, WWE and beyond, Sting created iconic memories for generations of fans.
Certainly if there were to be any future AEW HOF though, he would be considered an obvious pick to be inducted, and Tony Khan has even said as much.
After an iconic run in professional wrestling, Sting was able to end his career on his own terms in AEW – a truly heartwarming retirement that will surely stand the test of time as being exquisite and unique.

2. Owen Hart

Since his widow Dr. Martha Hart has been clear that she would not support Owen Hart being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, an AEW induction would be appropriate.
Tony Khan has spoken warmly about Owen Hart in the past and it would be impactful to hear from AEW stars of today what Hart’s legacy meant to them.
While some of the roster actually knew Hart like Jeff Jarrett, others will have been inspired by seeing him on television as children – or even only enjoying his work entirely posthumously.
Being able to demonstrate a multi-generational impact would be a great tribute to a career and a life well lived that were tragically cut short.

1. Tony Schiavone

Bringing together an all-star cast on commentary has been one of the major benefits to AEW and making an immediate connection with fans.
Although many of the wrestlers may be new to most casual viewers, the classic voice of Tony Schiavone is immediately recognizable and captivating to listen to.
While it seems that Tony Schiavone is the voice of AEW in front of the cameras, he seemingly plays a big role behind the scenes as well.
If there were ever to be an AEW Hall of Fame, it seems like it would make total sense for the legendary commentator to be inducted.
